Where's Merric? [here be SPOILERS]

So I did the Fighter's Guild finale quest, which makes Merric guildmaster. Problem is, when I get to the Hollow City there is no mention of Merric at the Fighter's Guild. So where the heck is he?
Forgive me if it's plainly obvious or has been asked before. But it's driving me crazy!

Whisper292✭✭✭Valaste is outside the guild hall in Eyevea, and as far as I know, Merrick is inside the guild hall in the last zone you play in the alliance. For instance, I think he's in the hall at Evermore in DC.
