Where's Merric? [here be SPOILERS]

So I did the Fighter's Guild finale quest, which makes Merric guildmaster. Problem is, when I get to the Hollow City there is no mention of Merric at the Fighter's Guild. So where the heck is he?
Forgive me if it's plainly obvious or has been asked before. But it's driving me crazy!

demonlkojipub19_ESO✭✭✭✭✭Alsowhere is velast too. Even if you choose to have her stay out of shaeos clutches, she vanishes without a trace. Youd think shed be on eyevea reading books nonstop, but nope. Shes not even back at the first guild hall..

Whisper292✭✭✭Valaste is outside the guild hall in Eyevea, and as far as I know, Merrick is inside the guild hall in the last zone you play in the alliance. For instance, I think he's in the hall at Evermore in DC.
