The door to the bank in Vulkhel guard

Its glitchy.
I almost always get stuck, moving slightly to the right makes me slowly move forward and after 10 seconds i get free except when it makes me fall through the floor and fall forever.
Relog does not help, /stuck does not work.
Quit helps as long as I dont log back in too soon.
Its the front door to the bank building, just before you enter the bank room to the right.
I'm ok now, but you might want to fix it.
Attention Zenimax: Stamina builds don't hold up to magicka builds, and this is causing most of your class imbalance. It makes melee weapons and bows weaker than staves and class abilities. It makes medium and heavy armor less desirable than light armor. Fix this imbalance, and you'll address most of your balance issues.

    It's been this way for a month at least. After you hit E keep tapping W and you will roll in with no problems. :) Several have reported it so hopefully they will get it fixed since it is the ONLY door into the bank.

    hmm I did try rolling and it did nothing for me, but then that was not instantly after E as you seem to suggest.
    Im done with the zone now but Ill keep it in mind.

    Oh I did have problems several times with the stairs leading up to the enchanting merchant in Shornhelm. I fell through several times and gout not get out, no matter what. /stuck worked, but there is the penalty for getting stuck in glitches

    hmm i tend to walk out again if i can't enter did you try that? Usualy if i leave and enter again it works.

    I know what you mean. I have yet to fall through the floor, but I see my character lower a bit before moving forward.

    Took me over 15 tries last night on the EU server with one character. And doing w did not help this time. I could not go forward. No monkey or other pet I could see either, so it wasn't that. Got pretty mad by the 15th try, and was feeling glad that I had cancelled my sub a couple hours earlier. So many broken things they need to fix that are being ignored. Maybe in a few months it will be better, I hope...

    Another door thread! If you zone in quickly enough and the floors and ceilings are not showing, you can generally back up and fall out of the map. Doing so puts you into an endless fall, and after a minute or two you get kicked for spamming! What a treat! Spamming what is what I want to know, considering I never press a single key on the keyboard...

    ZOS_JessicaFolsom promised an incremental patch LAST week, then nothing happened THIS week. I would think that the door bug would get some priority, but no... Apparently putting on a good front for the newer (Dominion) players (who have no choice but to use that door a LOT) is not all that important.

    I'm glad I did not set up recurring payments. Disappointment after disappointment is wearing my patience out.

    As a helpful suggestion, I have found that if you hit "E" to open the door and then hit "NumLock" for autorun before your screen changes, you usually manage to get through the door OK. Do NOT back up if you get stuck, or you fall through the world!!!, you can always hit "E" when stuck and return outside.

    What a rip. If you get stuck because of the game's defects --- they CHARGE YOU GOLD to fix THEIR mistakes.

    The price of /stuck is negligible to many, but to a level 1-5 player who is probably the most likely to "trip" on the doorstep, it is a fortune! That is why the "DOOR" problem is in so many threads. I post this here because it is the most recent, and because I named Jessica (hoping, completely on purpose, for problem recognition ) a couple of posts back. (Please read on, Jessica!)

    Game gold is easy to get... Finding something worth spending it on is actually far more difficult! Play the game at your own pace and craft your own gear, and you will get your own motifs and mats along the way. I have, and just by playing and exploring, have spare motifs of all levels and gold to burn.

    Why anyone would need to BUY gold is beyond me. Report those who try to sell it! They are out to ruin a good game! Nothing good comes from them.

    I was a Namira's beta tester, and have played since September 2013. I still see unfixed bugs that were reported back then in places. I report every bug I see, even now. I would like ESO to be the great game it could be. I was banned for a bit after reporting the bank dupe bug because I asked CS to remove the dupes from my account and they didn't. I am still inclined to give the game the benefit of the doubt, but my patience is wearing very, very thin. I did not sign up for recurring payments, and might never make another. Many family members and friends might follow in my wake, 4 accounts just under my roof.

    I'm far more unhappy that something that worked flawlessly from beta, where I began testing last September, to the Craglorn launch can't be fixed quickly. It wasn't even broken, and why it was changed is a mystery! Skins on doors in Mournhold were working fine, too, but aren't now. Nobody falls through the world every time they look at those, and they are functional, so taking longer to fix them is understandable.

    Oh, that reminds me... The 'pregnant pauses" of 5 seconds or more, mostly in towns, was an early beta issue that was in abeyance until the Craglorn patch as well. It seems to be something of magnitude in the new area loading, so gear on players seems to be a reasonable assumption. If it was only in towns, I might say nothing, but it's not - it's just less frequent outside of towns, and it hurts in other places! Of annoying problems recurring since beta, this one hits the charts.

    Stealthily attempting an Ambush IV and freezing midair for 4+ seconds while madly pressing keys hoping they will queue is far beyond annoying (and they don't seem to queue). The results are that you are may be alive, but just - facing the wrong direction and completely disoriented. It is NOT lag, It is not addons, it is not a driver update issue. It is the game software which previously worked flawlessly.

    To the benefit of the developers, I happily discovered today that I didn't have to fall to my death for hours on end attempting to finish the end-game quest in the library. I could light the fires in the conduits while my feet were firmly planted. While this was good, it was only one step forward for I can't remember how many back.

    May all wind up happy in the end!

    I agree with this totally. Even though it isn't an enormous amount, the fact that they charge you for their flaw is really ridiculous. Whoever heard of paying for /stuck? Never in any mmo I have played. Gold sinks in this game are bad enough, but this one takes the cake......

    For me there is only a slight hiccup when i enter the door. Might have to do with character model being small, maybe.

    The charge is usually for hindering abusing it to travel freely to a waypoint.

    IF YOU ARE USING /STUCK TO GET OUT YOU ARE DOING THIS WRONG. you can still move your cursor to face the door, and hit E to leave the bank

    Yeah don't use /stuck it won't help. You will pay for nothing. Just go back outside and re enter the bank. The only way I can get in is roll in.

    /stuck is used when you back up while stuck in the door and wind up falling through the world. It is the ONLY way out of that situation that I know of. You can be booted offline for spamming (How that works eludes comprehension), and when your relog you are still falling...

    Rather than booting you for spamming, I would think they could transport you to a wayshrine though... Makes a heck of a lot more sense to write the code to do that instead.

    Yeah it's been glitchy for a while now.

    Best way I find to not get stuck is to wait outside for a few minutes before entering, it seems to happen when you enter before everything has fully loaded. Same with the bank in Davon's Watch, if you try to enter before the door texture and the textures on the barrels outside have properly loaded, you can end up in no-man's-land with no interior instead of in the bank.

    First: Before using /stuck take of your clothes, and your equipment won't be damaged.
    Second: I also encountered the "blocked" door, I was under the impression it was blocked due to a guard standing directly at the door. I guess that is the bug in this case. I'm not sure why the Guard is standing there. Could be his spawning location is bugged, or he is supposed to patrol inside the bank, but decided he wanted to guard the door instead :)
    This is also the reason why leaving and reentering works sometimes, because when you leave, the door moves a bit, and when you reenter, it is still partly opened, and you get room to maneuver around the guard. This also works, when someone else leaves the bank.

    Why use /stuck? Press your map key. Click once on the Vulkhel Guard wayshrine. Recall and no damage or unequipping or anything. Am I the ONLY one that finds recalling while falling kind of odd?

    It may help if the guard wasn't standing right in the doorway blocking it , how could this be placed so badly?

    Another small patch has been made, but the Vulkel guard bank door still broken. I don't see how this is such a hard thing to fix, seeing that it was working perfectly from beta testing right up until the Craglorn patch. I don't know about everyone else, but my sorcerer gets stuck every time I use the door unless I hit autorun as I enter, and even that doesn't work every time. There is no guard blocking the door and I've never seen one blocking it. When I do get through, it's like I've hit a step up and tripped on it between the area outside and inside.

    You fall through the world only when you back up. Jumping around and hitting movement keys is what people do when they get stuck, and people fall through even when they don't technically HAVE to. When back up, you get a second bug and fall through the world. Then, if you hesitate you get tossed offline for spamming, making it THREE bugs. When you relog, your character is still falling and screaming their fool head off!

    I'm not sure pressing your map key would work when you have fallen through the world, but in any event, it costs gold to go to a wayshrine from any place other than another wayshrine, and it also costs gold to repair after using /stuck. I'm not sure which is more expensive, but you are still being charged gold either way to get out of this most annoying unfixed bug.

    when you press E to open the door, wait 5 seconds then continue onwards

    i was getting repeatedly stuck in the door, trying to run into the bank. but patience paid off, i opened the door, waited, the camera angle re-adjusted and then i could continue into the bank normally.

    it totally needs fixing, but if you wait for 3-5 seconds for your camera to reposition before moving again, you'll find you aren't stuck.
