@blinksOk, IMO Mages should do high DPS at range, NB should be able to do high DPS at melee range, hence a gap closer. 2 classes good at different things but both deadly if used right. No point in having one class good at everything. I got taken down by a Sorc within 3 seconds last night in PvP with a spammable skill and I'm a v12 NB in FULL Legendary gear that includes glyphs too...wish I could hit that hard.
Really... a NB complaining about Sorc burst damage????????
Heh...I've two shot VR12s with 2500+ health with a bow, but it's rare, and my target needs to be a vampire or werewolf.
Sneak heavy attack crit+Camouflaged Hunter crit+Legendary Convent Bow enchant crit = dead vampire.
I've also 2 shot VR12's with daggers; Surprise Attack crit+Impale Crit if you are lucky. NB's *can* have high burst, when the moons align and you get crits. Same goes for Sorcs I suppose, although I don't have a high level sorc character.

Well, the DK in dress with a stick is a mage, not sure about the sorc though. If he's in heavy with a 2h sword, probably not.
Personally, I think Zeni messed up when they called DK/Sorc/Etc. classes. They should have called them "magic school" or somesuch. Your choice of weapon/armor determines your "class" more than your "class" does.

Sorcs get bound armorments, so while everyone is running around paying 100K for daedric motifs - we get it free!
add in thundering presence and we have even more armor and spell resist...dark exchange for a heal/magicka regen and spell symmetry to make it even stronger (or vice versa)..and even post nerf..bolt escape if things get to hairy.

Well we'll get tunics soon.
But the bound armour is rather pale and unsatisfying, I want darker armour. That said bound armour can be a life saver.People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!
