MAJOR Launcher issue : unable to download manifest, please try again later - error 210

Hi,

Since yesterday night my launcher is not working anymore.

It started yesterday night, I tried to play a bit but the launcher couldn't find/recover any news and instead posted the message:
- "error 210 patchmanifesterror_downloadfail" / "Unable to download manifest, please try again later"

This morning I found out that other people are having the same issue. http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/comment/498536#Comment_498536 In this thread, "ZOS_LenaicR Administrator, Moderator" is suggesting several solutions.. none of them worked for me !

- deleting the folder under programdata doesn't do anything
- using the launcher "uninstall" and "install/repair" didn't fixe any problem at all... it only completly remove all game folder !

Without any game folder left.. I decided to redownload the entire game. I logged into the web site to re-downloaded the latest PC client.
A new launcher was installed..but after that the launcher screen is sutck with the message "loading" and nothing happen.
I tried to uninstall the entire game and then start a new installation process with the EU or USA Megaserver.. total failure..

I don't understand why , after the full uninstall process, the launcher cannot perform a full new instllation.

I opened a ticket but I have still not received any help so far.

Am I the only one in this situation ?
If anyone faced a similar issue and successfully fixed it, can you share some info to me ?

I just fixed this on a friends computer with the simplest solution there is and a fix in general with a lot of Windows issues:

Let the launcher start as administrator. It should be fine if you rightclick your shortcut and use "run as administrator" if the option is there, but it's better to go to the launcher folder, rightclick the launcher.exe, go to properties -> compatibility and check "run this program as administrator".
If that doesn't work als try out the compatibility modes found there.

Hope this fixes the issue for you too.

since tuesdays patch i havethe same problem.
and nothing helps !

You are not alone! Customer Support replied to my ticket with a tailored and detailed eimail (nice job!) that gave a list of solutions I handn't yet tried x3.

I tried all fixes sent by CS and all failed. This launcher is a stubborn basterd.
