Ummm... I'm glad I'm having this conversation now... If Cyrodiil itself is a huge PvE zone with questing, dungeons, and skyshards why is there concern meeting up with PvP? Or is Cyrodiil more like what GW2 called PvW where to two could co-exist sort of if you leave each other alone? What happens in a town or when getting a quest and you are solo. Couldn't there be PvP waiting around the corner to ambush the poor solo sod?SeltzerDuke wrote: »I should mention if PvP has no allure for you, Cyrodiil itself is a huge PvE zone with questing, dungeons, and dozens (literally) of skyshards. You just have to be alert for inadvertent contact with enemy players as you go about these, heh.
Which makes it totally worthless for those of us that don't want to have to deal with PVP jerks ganking those who aren't geared and have no desire to engage in pointless PVP.SeltzerDuke wrote: »Cyrodiil itself is a huge PvE zone with questing, dungeons, and dozens (literally) of skyshards. You can't avoid it and the PVP jerks know it.Ummm... I'm glad I'm having this conversation now... Still, when I played GW2 it was a much better game to manage overall beyond what we are discussing here.fromtesonlineb16_ESO wrote: »You can't avoid it and the PVP jerks know it.
And yes, your last comment is accurate. It's like GW2 when you want to get the Been There, Done That exploration title you have to do all the jumping puzzles, POIs etc. in the PVP zones. In those you'll get groups of PVP jerks griefing those who don't want to PVP but are forced to go there by the game if they're to obtain what they're after.
Same thing happens in Cyrodil several friends have told me, corpse camping is also a 'fun' event at times it seems.
I'm not going to even look as it would simply infuriate me to the point of quitting.
