COD System Issues - Missing Items - Missing Payments

There appears to be a problem with the COD deliver system today. I have been buying and selling for the past two days and have now noticed/confirmed an issue..

Players that I have sent items to have reported not seeing my mail with the attached items. They are unable to pay for my goods and are also unable to return the items. Some will go though and others will not. I have been sending random items to my friend today on top of selling to players and have confirmed there is indeed a bug..

I am now missing the following...

---These items players (customers) have reported that they are not seeing after I send to them---
[Grand Soul Gem] - A total of 675
[Fortified Mud Crab Cakes] - A total of 400
[Daedric Motif] - One (Which is to much to be missing...)

--These items I am assuming the players (customers) are simply trolling me on since they have not responded---
[Grand Soul Gem] - A total of 300
[Fortified Mud Crab Cakes] - A total of 500

The above items plus the COD costs is quite frustrating..

Note: Others have called this out in zone chat as well and I am now getting upset..

I would like some confirmation that these items will
a) go to the customer and they can return/buy them
b) I some how get a refund for the items that have confirmed to be "lost"

    Just had a customer pay for my stuff in COD and I am not getting the message back to collect my money...

    I did a bunch of trading last night on na cluster and I got everything so it's not server wide unless it's eu doing it. But if everyone was having it you'd figure we would have more complaints

    I'm on the NA server and I did a lot of buying and selling yesterday, I got everything. I know sometimes you have to log out then back in and the items will appear.

    NA Server. I Posted a bug report as soon as the bug report would open for me. Today it has been much better. I will simply cut my loses as this point it appears.

    Had this issue this morning. Sent item to a player COD, as requested. The recipient player says they got the item and payed, but I have not gotten the return mail. I tried re-logging a few times, still no mail after 4 hours. Opened a /help ticket, no reply from /help either.

    I received 6 mails when I logged on today (EU), 4 of those were sent 2 DAYS ago!! I have logged in and out several times in the intervening period so I was very surprised. The Guildie who sent the mails thought I was annoyed/ignoring him and didn't mention he'd sent them, until after I sent him the goods he had asked for. Not good for fostering happy player relations :(

    I'm on the NA server. I sent a motif to another player about 4 days ago and just got the payment today. I contacted the buyer to ask when they had received the motif and was told that they didn't see it until last night. I understand delays, but 4 days seems a bit much for mailing a single item....

    Well I don't want to sound like it is a loss cause, but I have not received any information regarding this either. Did the /bug thing and what not. I simply gave up on my loss gold and items. Sorry to hear others is also having this problem, but I am also glad that I am not the only one. I was starting to get concerned there for a bit haha.

    I have been burnt now four times by sending players items COD and never getting payment back. Also the expiration time limit does not work either. It's been well over 30 days on some of the items I sent COD and still have not got them back or payment. I know ZOS is reading these posts yet have failed to put any safe guards in place for the seller. Come on ZOS get off your butts and fix this problem or do away with COD sales. Geeze what is it going to take......................Enough is enough.

    I think some people are getting fed up with COD and only doing personal (Interact with player) transactions.

    Hey there folks,

    COD mails that do not receive a payment are returned to the seller after 3 days, though the COD fee is not returned.

    If you experience an issue with a piece of COD mail that went missing, please open a ticket with our CS department here. Please include as much information as you can in the ticket, such as the item name and quantity that was sent, the time and date of the mail, the amount requested, the name of the player character or @ account name that it was sent to, etc.

    Please note that if you send in a bug via /bug, you will not receive a response from a CS rep. To create a CS ticket in the game, use the /help command.

    This is all very well, but as we have no "sent mails" box to look at, once a mail is sent it is gone, those details cannot be checked later.

    Are we expected to remember these details or take a screenshot of every mail we send just in case? This sort of functionality should be included in the mail system - especially if the player is going to be requested to provide these sorts of details in order to have problems investigated.

    Hey there @Epona222,

    All fair and valid feedback. The more information that you are able to provide, the easier it will be for a CS rep to find and replace. Not all of that information is necessary to recover a lost piece of mail, but the more that is remembered the easier it will be.
