We've been discussing about these stuff here. And BAM! it shows up on the ask us anything. Although I personally feel that the official forum community deserve the mentions better, but oh well, as long as it's there.

Stamina builds are being looked into, there's so much great stuff I see in 1.2.2. The variety pack is delightful and filled with hope. I really like where this is going. It has definitely restored my hope in the developers!

Did I mention that the mods are now more responsive than ever? With solid responses and detailed answers? Gone are the vagueness from what I see! And here comes the well managed community where we are able to direct so many questions to these solid dev posts!

So, do you like it?

Ask us anything: Variety Pack 15 is amaze-balls!

PTS Patch Notes 1.2.2 delights me!

Dev Tracker for all the amazing answers!

Some insights provided by the forum mods.
    - Stamina builds are being looked into, to be rolled out soon within 1.2.x patches.
    - VR Level is confirmed to not be raised in the next content update! Veteran system will be improved in some time.
    - Taunts tooltips will be added. 3 taunts from any player within 10 seconds is the maximum.
    - Physical / Mobile Authenticators are on the way! Not soon but in the works/plans!
    - Templars are getting the love too, so don't be jealous of NB. They're not done with NB yet! And yes, all classes will get the love~ Just Templar will be focused on more.
    - Forward camp fixes are hopefully out next patch! Burn them, burn them all!
    - Ultimate loss is confirmed to be somewhat intended when you do not gain ultimate for some time. Hopefully they update the tooltips.

i prefer it to stay as is and no contact from the developers. i tend to feel like im being policed when speaking to them and feel as tho there is need for alot of trust that i ...

i love elderscrolls online and wish to remain ingame and not alot of talking.

well lets just say it's best when words are few between thier party and ours. they are good people and we are good people. lets not stir the trouble with alot of words. lets just keep our current status as is just like all the mmo's i have ever played the dev's usualy do not interact with members due to problems it could lead to.

After 2 and a half months they finally just today acknowledged that they are working on a fix to the current magicka > stamina imbalance plus addressing the light > medium & heavy armor situation.

Blew me away to be honest, but I'll wait n see how they actually fix before I get too excited.

True true. But it's exciting when they finally acknowledge all these. At least now I know they're willing to try.

I prefer my developers to be aloof and out of contact. It comforts me to know, or should I say think that the incessant bitching about everything falls on dead ears.

I enjoy the mods stepping up more though. This town needs sheriffs.

Currently the only thing that I dislike is the upcoming gear that will, according to the devs, make others jealous by its looks and stats. The looks part is fine, but if the stat bonus is very high and the gear is incredibly hard to acquire and requires 24 people to do a specific pve raid, I am not a fan of that since I am mainly a pvp player. Apart from that, I feel the game is going into a good direction.

    Yeaaaah boyyyyy!!

I'm sure they keep a close eye on the stat bumps when they make the new rare armours (: It just depends on whether the players in Cyrodiil could accept that designed balance.

Mods are definitely needed. Else people would cry and cry and never listen to anyone else's explanation even when they were the one who wanted a discussion.

Indeed , this kind of thing should have been going on since the first day , it is a start , i hope they keep this up and even make it better with time.

Still , i will probably not be here to see it , if anything , hearing things like:
Barrier is currently heavily preferred by healers over Rite of Passage. Have you considered making changes to Rite of Passage to make it more appealing, such as increasing the AoE cap for it? – From ESO TwitchTV livestream

In coming patches, Rite of Passage will make you immune to crowd control while channeling. We’ve also resolved a bug that prevented it from benefiting from the Focused Healing passive. We think it’s cool that PvP abilities are more effective if you are in a huge group, while others are better for hit squads. That said, we will keep an eye on Rite of Passage and make sure it’s filling the intended role
I do occasionally group up with a friend to do quests and the like, but very rarely more than that. From what I can see of Craglorn, everything is group based. While I am happy to see that content come out for the game's longevity, I probably won't see it. Will there be any Veteran content in the future that does not rely on being grouped? – John Adams-Wade

Yes. We’ll continue to add content in the game for all types of players. We may concentrate in the immediate future on “new” content which is four-player or twelve-player group based, but we will have lots of features coming in which benefit all players, including having more varied activities.

Just make me want to quit even more heh , im a templar and a solo player , which apparently means i should lock myself into PvP since my healer ult is meant to work there and i can only get PvP there for vets11/12 by myself.

Then again , maybe in a few months who knows.

Indeed, they take more time to acknowledge solo players. But they do however stated that contents will be added for all players. Perhaps they intended for us to really slow down and take a stroll through the VR content? I don't know, all I know is that there's not much quests left :(

    They're fixing Templar DPS though~~~ Don't leave us~~~

    No.
    Don't like the poll.

I entered No, not because I am unhappy with them telling us things, more because I don't think they tell us enough and I don't think many peoples concerns are answered in a timely manner on here.

Saying the mods are more responsive than ever is totally true, but previously they were hardly responsive at all so while it's a nice improvement, it still has a LONG way to go.

And I think the forum design of the dev tracker part is the worst designed part of the forum/site.

I understand the devs have to be careful about what they promise (nothing gets people angrier than being told xyz is coming and it doesn't appear) , at the same time it can (and usually does with ESO) go to far in the opposite direction where their responses are really vague

To give one example, not meaning to take it off topic, just showing how a lack of info can affect players.

The devs said "the Veteran system is something we're looking at improving, but please understand that it will take some time."

Sure it takes time, but it would be nice to know what devs are thinking of doing, what the possible ideas are etc.

My guild members have all been very very positive towards ESO but in the past few weeks, those players reaching vet have started to be very vocal about no longer enjoying their experience, these are players that have adored this game and up until this point, never said a word against it.

If I knew what the changes were likely to be, I would probably park up my main (except for PvP) and play an alt instead, waiting for the vet changes to arrive, then go back to my main. But not having a clue what will be coming, or any time scale (within 3 months, within a year, some clue would be nice) do I simply just farm Craglorn for vet xp so that I can get to Vet 12 for PvP, or do I simply wait around for what could be over a year?

Then there's those players who loved questing up to vet level and are simply hating the quest grind so much they are thinking of leaving (one guild member cancelled their sub just yesterday for this reason, they have 50 days left remaining and said if it hadn't improved by then, they are off). The devs response doesn't help these players at all. Give them a clue about the direction and time frame, then they can decide whether to wait around or not. Not telling them just so that Zenimax might get another few months of subs from them until their patience runs out will backfire long term due to bad publicity.

Add to that the fact that many players feel we are paying to beta test a game, and feel the only reason the console versions were delayed was due to the public outcry about the state of the PC ESO on release, it's understandable why so many peoples feelings are running high.

The only game I have played where there has been worse communication has been Lotro
