Bought a GTC but in my mind I´m pretty much unsubbed, unless Zenimini manages to unfrack the biggest problems here.

I love the game but massive issues like the guild bank search facility appear to be receiving very low priority. The focus seems to be to add more content when existing problems remain un-solved. I will probably come back when issues I consider to be important have been rectified but I'm not paying any more to play a broken game.

I had been planning on being here to the end. What changed? I guess the main thing is the VR crapola. I simply don't want to take my daggerfall character through the illogic of other faction stories. I had imagined VR would be something that made sense. This is just lazy. I will be experiencing these stories with alts.

So no Vr10 so no craglorn for me either.

Second is the out of control Botting. I hope that can be dealt with but I fear it cannot.

EDITED TO ADD: Got a 6 month sub and still having fun. If I find VR fun I'll continue but if it is just a deliberately slow grind then I'll be looking elsewhere. I do hope Zen sort the issues and have a rethink on VR levelling.

There has to be a worthwhile alternative for those of us who don't want the illogic of the current setup and who want to experience those story-lines with an alt.

I'm a big fan of this fan but I also don't like companies taking the urine.

'Oh let them just do the other plot lines whether it makes sense or not. And cut the xp to near-zero.'

    That comes pretty close.

I rather hoped Craglorn would be where we could level up from VR, not a reward for jumping through old and mis-shaped hoops.

But give us alternatives in the form of new content and you can keep taking my money.

I am checking out Archeage though. That's looking very interesting.

It even has alpha patch notes mentioning changes to the anti-exploit checking software processes. It's almost like they figured out they need a stable door and a good strong bolt before going live and not just hope the better nature of players and large RMT businesses would mean they needn't bother.

Depends on their direction. They really have to set their priorities right.
People keep telling me they're gonna buy me an ale. They never do.

There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's culture. And the Elves.

Looking at my previous MMO consumption, it tends to get less and less with each new MMO. But ESO is still good for at least a month or two, so in total I expect to be here for at least three month total and then I'll see if I stay or turn off the PC again for the summer to do outdoors stuff.

I will give the game three months.I believe is enough to introduce decent content and fixes. All MMOs submit to this rule IMO, never judge an MMO from it's launch. It is a huge mistake...

Your poll needs the most logical and intelligent answer added.

"As long as I am having fun" because no one can predict what will be happening to them or the game in a month, two months, a year.
I will pay monthly and keep subbed until I get bored of the game or just don't enjoy it any more, then I will leave and play other games maybe coming back in future.

This is true. Hindsight is always 20/20. On the other hand, wouldn't that make this poll a no brainer? I feel that option would represent nearly everybody (including myself). Good thing there's a comment section.

Craglorn is going to make or break it for me. Since it's for v10-12 and they don't really have any v1-10 content other than recycled factions, I don't have high hopes.

I am close to the end of story. Last like 50% of quests in couldharbor left. I reached vet1 rank yesterday. So I am going to finish main story and focus on PvP. I am NOT willing to play more PvE content (except group dungeons) untill bots are gone for good.

I sub per month as I am still not sure if I extend it or not. But I think I will stay for few more month. Also nobody knows if the game won't really end up F2P(not that I want it to...) and I would not like to waste money if that happens.(doubt that they would make refunds)

A lot of things must be implemented, corrected to make the great as it deserves.

I have hopes that ZENIMAX can listen to reasonable complaints and deliver fixes and new content to make players happy and bring in more players so the game grows and zenimax prospers.

    I'm already unsubbed!
The lack of gear appearance variety, useful quest rewards, wardrobe tab, terrible re-spec costs that remove the joy of experimenting and the terrible Veteran Rank system has made me unsub. I had a great time with this game, but now that I am closing in on level 50 I have just gotten bored. I never feel like i am becoming stronger or that I am rewarded for doing all the things I do.

And from what I hear about the Veteran Rank stuff is just making me less and less interested. The final reason is that most of my friends has already quit playing, and I just can't stand playing with strangers in a story based game like this. To many people skipping through the dialogue and just being annoying.

Well i rushed the game 1st time it took me 8 days to be Vet10 Geared epic and legendary i'm waiting for craglorn i didn't find any activities to do with my main nothing to farm, nothing to grind like notoriety, no activities like jumping puzzle or building my own house....

So i decide to make an alt mage taking my time to listen to stories.

I really hope zeni are going to give us more activities to do soon :)

This game has joined other MMO's I play in the list of ones I just pop back into every few months to see what has changed.

I hate the vet content. I chose my faction for a reason. I chose 2 factions for a reason, because there are areas I really don't like .... the AD areas, and that's where my vet Daggerfall character was sent. I don't want to do those areas and that pretty much killed the fun I was having up until then.

That and the constant nerfs to loot and XP in ZOS's losing battle against the bots.

So i'll just keep popping back and see if any new stuff has been added every so often.

    How long will i subscirbe?

untill i am dead, or untill eso closes the servers perminantly. which ever comes first.
best in slot: is the armor, weapon, clothing look, pet, or no pet, jewelry, race, class, skill choices, amount of DPS, and skin color best fit to you and the way you wish to play and makes you feel good and performs what YOU think it should be.

worst in slot: what you read in zone chat, and forum comment, and forum thread, and you tube video, and live streamer advice, and class rep advice, and guild chat advice, and whisper told you to wear, and use for skill, and dress like, and use for weapon and armor.

I'm subscribed for 3 months and am still enjoying the game. However, I still prefer single player games - Watchdogs is being released on 27 May and Dragon Age 3 in October. My current plan is to treat ESO as my TV (I don't watch television at all, here in the UK it is rubbish and the BBC is totally corrupt) and dip into it when I need a break from playing off-line. So I will probably keep renewing my subscription until I become bored with the game.

Impossible to give a definative answer.

How quickly will new content be released?

Will there be new content of a type I want to play?

How long will it take for the game to be expanded to cover all of Tamriel?

Will Zenimax get on top of the bot problem?

How long will it take for me to simply get bored?

These and other variables make it impossible to know how long I will want to keep playing, although I am not likely to stop playing soon.

Just out of habit, I generally play a game at least a year. I was even subscribed to SWTOR until the beginning of this year, though I only played it off and on after they officially dropped character story development.

Well, personally, I subscribed for the 90 days. Based on my current rate of consuming the games content, this should be more than enough time to consume all the solo PvE content that game has or will likely ever have.

At that point, my guess would be that I will quickly grow tired of playing. Having seen everything there is to see and not caring at all about the PvP aspect, I will likely stop logging in daily and start playing other games. Once that happens, the simple reaction of "Why am I paying a subscription for a game I don't play" kicks in.

They just won't be able to create content quick enough to keep pace with consumption. So while I would LOVE to eventually have enough zones covering all of Tamriel.... That is years away, if ever.

    Honestly nowhere near decided yet.
Even with the bugs and flawed updates I'm still enjoying the game more than I've enjoyed any other MMO (by that, I mean it's drawn my attention for more than two days). They've released one major end-game update and I'm looking forward to trying out other content that is added later.

So I guess I'll unsubscribe when I get truly bored or when the updates start causing me to lose interest.
