I dont know why i get this on my launcher since days but i can't repair it cause this popup keeps coming up. I reinstalled installer and had to dl a agonising 5gb again (slow shared connection) but as soon as i launch it gives the same message.

Pls tell me there is a way around this instead of installing everything again, 20gb takes me 2 days.

I can still playing by going straight to eso.exe but i cant receive new update this way

looks like a connection error. You can't get access to the list of what the launcher is supposed to download and have

    Quick solutions?
    1. See if the firewall or antivirus is blocking it. Set rules to allow it.
    2. Repair the game entirely.

    Lengthy Solutions
    1. Contact support directly via email or whatnot.
    2. Re-install entire game completely.

Try running the updater as an administrator.

    Hello @Kingkai80,

As mentionned by @hasselhoffman, this error can be generated when the launcher does not have the "rights" to access the folder the game is installed in.

Try to run the launcher as administrator by right-clicking the icon and select "Run as Administrator" and try again. Feel free to reply to this thread if the problem persist or if it solved it for you.

Thnx for the reply, I already run it as admin but keeps giving the popup, also deleted several files as i read in a solution post, i did reinstall something of 5gb but when prompted same error.

Firewall is currently disabled and my anti virus have never blocked anything from a game so i am open for suggestions because reinstalling the game is the absolute emergency option as reinstalling the game and dl all patches will take me days with the possibility it is not solved.

It did worked before and as i am playing it for the first 3 days ever have no clue what caused this.

Also weird is that on the website error 206 says something different but the error message i see is online error 209 instead of the 206 i am seeing.
