Zenimax looks on while bots run the game

Yet another display of Zenimax's inability to manage their own game.

This blatantly obvious group of bots have farmed their way up to level 50 content despite being reported numerous times by numerous people.

Lets be real here folks. Zenimax is in over their heads. For gods sake they STILL have not included a single click report function. You STILL have to fill out an email to report anything.

The truth is Craglorn wont save this game. And we all know it.
I will see you gents in Wildstar. Which is an amazingly fun game by the way.

Did they say anything about implementing a one click report function? I see so many people here saying: "They STILL have not implemented XY!!" and I really wonder how many of these things are planed from Zenimax side.

A one click report function will not save the game, there are too many bots and even now I think that there are way more reports than any support team can handle. They have to figure sth. out to clear out the bots in a larger scale and I'm sure they are working on sth.

I just hope they will get to a solution in time. Wildstar is no option for me, played about an hour. There was no fun for me in this game and I really don't like the optics of this game. May turn out to be a good mmo, may turn out to be not. It's sure not for me.

Yuk! Wildstar is an abomination of a game that give me eye epilepsy. While I agree that Zenimac have done nothing to kill the bots or done anything at all apart from hurt the real player but I'll stick with it for the duration cause I love the game and wildstar is just gawd awful!

Bad as the botting/hacking going on in this game, Wildstar is owned by NCsoft which means it will be even worse then here with even less done. Just look at linage/aion etc to see how little NC cares about it

ps I realize people will say "I have never seen a bot in wildstar beta", you could say the same for ESO. wait until release

The Wildstar sub system is a bot/gold spammers dream. They undercut the sub cost for the equivalent amount of gold... and voila you get people subbing for much less than retail. Have fun.

We might see bots in WildStar, we might not. One thing for certain, ZOS has a backup plan to make money - PS4 and XboxOne release for Elder Bots, WildStar has only a PC version and cannot afford to $hit on & ignore it PC customers.

Dude, give them some slack. They just pushed the game out not even two months ago and you're claiming that they're "looking on"? A GM logged on and announced right in /Zone chat that he was hunting them, and allowed all of the players to message him if they see bots running around. They're not "looking on", you're just being impatient.

Have fun on that wildstar game! Im sure they won't have RMTs and bots. Looks too campy and cartoony for my taste, but hey, if you like it better, than more power to you!

I have the recurring dream where I wake up in a world free of ignorance about how bots and bot-prevention works. A world where players finally stop making hyperbolic posts about a problem they clearly don't understand. A world where- aw damn, I woke up.

Wildstar is dreadful. Simple as that and will be bombarded with the Black Market and cheats.

Zenimax are working hard at preventing the Black Market taking over too much. They listened to the savvy players who knew the 25% tax on guild store sales was too high.

Now they need to change the gear attrition and rescale the reset skills and stats charges.

Unfortunately they fuelled the economy by making motifs too rare. better to make them common again or make them part of the skill point system in some way.

Too many fun-breakers, the casuals need to play and enjoy the game. Tne challenges should be the battles and environment not the base cash sinks.

Note I am NOT saying bank or inv slots are too expensive and same for horses, Fine. But the attrition is a retro thing and leaves a nasty taste in the mouth. Same for skill resets, WoW and Rift did these things perfectly, enough to be painful but not TOO painful. No need to change things that were perfected in the past of the MMO genre. Evolution is fine but not retro.... nope.

When NCSoft gives a rational explanation for killing off City of Heroes and refusing to sell it back to Paragon, I'll think about maybe playing another game in their stable. Until then, I will not even consider anything that requires giving money to NCSoft. Also, you should expect bots in Wildstar, lots of bots. But then, you should also expect Wildstar to get shut down without warning because NCSoft.

Yes, by all means. Because let's face it, the grass will definitely be greener. Everything in the history of MMOs proves this and oh boy their open beta was streamlined with non linear quests and not one bug.

I am truly enjoying all the posts defending zenimax's incompetence with the argument that the problem is simply too big for ZOS to handle. That combating bots is too complicated of a task for them to figure out.

You'd think after over a decade people would understand how bot prevention actually works.

Here is the sad fact...even WITH the bot issue, this game is still better than all the other alternatives. Wildstar appeals to me not at all. No more cartoony WoW-clones. Nothing about Wildstar amazes me.

Some people might enjoy Wildstar more then ESO..nothing wrong with that..I personally think its god awful... but that's my opinion.

However..If you don't think Wildstar is going to have a ton of bots, you clearly have not been paying attention to MMO for the past 8 or so years...

Its going to be overrun with Bots... simply because of the Plex system alone.

Sure, since every MMO developer is in regular exchange with all the others for trading their mechanics and to help each other to make the games better, you would think that everybody knows.
