There are numerous Bot Thread because obviously Zenimax does not care.

You can no longer Farm mats in most areas. Public dungeons quests are a joke.

I paid a lot of money for this game...for what Bots? I can't even gather mats anymore to craft.

Bots finally made it into VR 1- 10 Content because they were not stopped in the lower areas. Guess what happens when bots are not banned? A: They grow up from baby bots into big bad boy VR bots!

And finally a GM took time off of his busy schedule to remove One little bot out of the Thousands...that is right "Thousands" that plague this game.

I reported, filmed and took screen shots of over 30 bots just in the Auridon crafting areas...flying about like they owned the place.

The bots are using the Black Smith/Tailoring/Woodworking stations. Then some "legit" head bot sells the extracted materials dirt cheap to players like you and I.

Bots were localized to lower areas now the flood V1-10 areas.

Question: Where are the GMs? Why are they not in force banning?
Why is it Zenimax does not discuss this issue with the player-base?

Why don't they give us exact details of How the plan to eliminate the bots?
What they are doing now is Nothing!

Good job Zenimax for hiring/positioning GMs online - in-game in major towns/cities, in heavily botted gathering areas and in public dungeons.

This game has become the laughing stock of the MMORPG world due to how easily Zenimax (the share holders?) turn a blind eye to how saturated the bots are.
Some reports mention as many as 10 bots for every player & 28% of the player base buys gold. (quoting for MMO online magazines and forum threads).

You cannot stop the Gold Buying per se, however you can attack the severe saturation of bots and the degradation of the game due to bots as well as teh loss of player subscriptions by working on IP Protocols, working through legalities, creating software that detects hacking (LUA) through the launcher etc. AND - More Importantly for the Player-Base

GMs need to be out in Force 24/7 Banning bots especially in specific low level dungeons/gathering/farming zones.

I don't know about you but I am tired of reporting bots daily that I see the very next day and then the next day. I have filed over 300...yup "300" - phoned Zenimax 4 times now and have written in 4 separate threads.

I Enjoy this game. I played a Lot for this game. I think we all need to hold Zenimax accountable. What exactly is Zenimax doing to combat this bot problem?

The Fanboyz will hate to read this but it is beginning to look as though Zenimax is behind the botting/gold selling.

It would not be the first time a Money Holder/Investor put collecting (dirty) revenue ahead of game development and the player-base.

Here are links of the bot programs so easily used, bragged about and purchased by players and pros alike:

Greetings, everyone. We understand that these types of violations can be very frustrating for players to see in-game and we are diligently working to improve the situation. We appreciate all the reports that you have submitted about these violators and we continue to investigate every report thoroughly.

Please, however, understand that reporting specific in-game violations or players you believe to be committing a violation in-game on the forums as this can be considered Naming and Shaming and is against our Community Rules. Videos that show other players in-game in an effort to call them out for a violation is an example of Naming and Shaming. Please refrain from posting such videos and instead use the in-game report system for any violation that you witness in-game. Those in-game reports help us tremendously in investigating and taking proper actions.

How dare he post this video, and potentially "Name and Shame" that bot. I'm sure the bot is feeling pretty down right now. But answer me this - If these reports help you tremendously in investigating and taking proper actions as you say, then where is this reflected? All people are seeing is that the reporting party is the one who is shamed when you publicly reprimand him for posting this video, and that your claims that you are taking proper actions are lip service, since the bot epidemic continues to grow. I know that I receive more solicitations from gold selling web sites via in-game mail now than I did at launch and that number grows every week it seems, despite my reporting them upon receipt.

I don't really understand why you guys protect the "rights" of those who should have none anyway as they violated your terms of service in performing the actions that caused the post which caused you to remind an actual player concerned about the game that he violated your forum policy.

The bottom line is this - I think we have all read the statements and believed the promises about your handling of the bot problem, but until people actually see some meaningful results, results that impact their day to day playing experience in a positive way, it will continue to be what it appears to be right now - words on a forum.

Do you mind? I'm busy doing the fishstick. It's a VERY delicate state of mind...

Yeah I'm sorry, I agree with Decimatia, is videoing bots really breaking the naming and shaming rules? Are you kidding?

I didn't realize a bot had emotions. I'm sorry bots, I'm sorry for all the bad things I said about you. I'm sorry on behalf of Shadowy for making you fell shamed in the video. I'm sorry that your ruining of my enjoyment for something I'm paying for caused me to report you and get you banned. I'm sorry that you may not be able to pay to feed your robot children. Maybe your robot wife might leave you for the robot with the fancy house, I'm sorry for that to.

Guys, I'm going to start the WBF (World Bot Fund) for all the banned bots who can't make a living, who's in?

And then real players get a ban instead....

Stop banning real players and start banning Bots. The bot's are a program with distinct characteristics that should be easily identifiable to any experienced GM, in comparison to the erratic behaviour of real players, one min their questing, then their grinding, then their emptying the crap out of their bags, and on it goes, they join up with friends, they communicate about things that don't involve gold, they don't f'n fly around and through the world ffs.

Seems like it would be fairly easy to tell the difference to me, if it is, then why the heck are they still in the game ?

Just means we have to record them with the UI off so no names are shown. The point of a video like this is to point out an area that is a bot hot spot.

In game reports will have the location but as they say a picture is worth 1000 words, a video worth much more.

Bots are not in Veteran zones. That's a complete lie. Also, I have never had a problem farming mats. I have to believe that is a lie as well.

How on earth can it be naming and shaming when:

    A) The so called victim (LOL) Is history 2 minutes into it`s life cycle

    B) It`s bloody obvious what it is (Normal players don`t come like a tidal wave of burlap clothed dungballs)

    C) Normal players don`t name their characters by bashing the keyboard (If they did then surely they deserved a kick in the knickers at any rate)

It`s nice to see that our reports help you tremendously in your investigations however it would help us tremendously if you :

    A) Started taking the problem by the horn`s.

    B) Refer to A

As much as i like the game (even with all the bugs) I feel that Zenimax and whatever else is involved is fairly incompetent when it comes to dealing with the bot problem.

The answer is always like a politicians answer, full of sugar coating and lots of fancy words but didly squat gets done.
