bosses despawning?

why does this happen? usually right in front of me as im about to attack.

If you refer to a WB, yes, they do that, it's like a "recycle" of some sort, no Idea why but they do. The good news is that if that WB is "bugged", this "recycle" makes it un-bugged. That's how I got the achievement on a bug one.

Still pretty crappy, though. You get a group together to kill it and it despawns right before they get there. Makes you look like an idiot.

I got it today in the slavers camp in Shadowfen. Banished while I was mid-air charging with my 2hander (arghhhhh... what???).

To mention, the respawn timer was MUCH shorter than an after-kill boss respawn, so I guess its more than worth the trouble to avoid world bosses bugging with the lack of recycle.

It happend to me too. I was fighting a worldboss with another guy and in the middle of the fight they both dissapeared.

at first I thought that as well, feeling like an idiot, now im happy many people knows this by now, so it dont feel so much like it anymore.

the problem is still that it blows, getting a group as you say together then right when the last member comes bang boss gone....

they should really add a distance player check and stall the despawn if someone is within a certain radius of the boss.
