Workaround for blinding restoration healing staff?

Hi,

Does anyone know of a workaround to get rid of the glowing restoration staff?
You would make me happy if you respond here.
I dont mean relog or switch weapons, relog would just get me kicked out of the group and i switch to bow like ten times a run, does not work.


Background info:
I am level 26 woodelf, bow 38 and two handed sword for soloing.
I started doing a few dungeons as a healer, because it is so hard to find healers and i like to help people out (like when they ask for one in zone chat)

After investing 6 skillpoints in the restoration staff and buffing maxica it works fine and i feel rewarded and happy when we complete it.

But there is a problem that i spend a couple of hours googling etc and i cannot find a solution.
The staffs starts to glow so bright i can hardly see the fight and have a struggle seeing anything on the right, like mobs attacking me. I just cannot see them, because of a bright light blinding me.
Seeing my teammates is also a lot harder then it should be,

Ok, i can learn to play, turn around, run around etc. I do.

I just wondered if anyone knows of a solution they found out or read anywhere?

So untill this is fixed by zenimax or it is confirmed they just want healers to have a rough time ( like a disadvantage so not everyone starts using the restoration staff as a secondary, i can see that might have been the idea lol)

None of the other posts have been properly answered, so i thought i would try one more time,
Check youtube healing staff bug if you don't use one and don't believe me.

There are so many posts about bots, that my question is not getting much attention.
Can someone from support comment on my question, do you guys know of a workaround like a key i can bind to fix it.
Or confirm it is working as intended, so not a bug?
I would like to know before i spend too many skill points and time leveling something that will get me killed on veteran level.

I believe this is a bug, it's as if the staff is stuck in the attack animation/glow which does not go away until we relog. And it's very annoying but it has never been acknowledged so it might not be in their priorities list...

Try heal in thirdperson, i do even though i dont have your problem, its easier to se everything.

3rd person definitely helps. Makes it easier to see the casting circle too. 3rd person takes some getting used to if you are used to 1st person, but it's worth it if you ever plan to go to Cyrodiil. Can't do 1st person there, lol.

Yes exactly, the cirkles are much easier to see, both from you, the healer, and the boss´s asspain AoE.
And yes, in dungeons, otherwise its firtperson and very hard to do anything at all with that light from the staff, wich i myself got a blend from last night but it didnt last long.

The bug has existed since 2013, it appears to have got no response.

Lol, I had that bug yesterday for some period of gametime, but I didn't know it was actually a bug. I play in 3 'rd person, so for me it was cool and wasn't blinding me at all. I thought I had some additional power Especially that just before it appeared I've used The Ritual stone. But the glowing stopped I don't know why.

I played GW2 for a while, with the daily pvp rewards and that was quite funny.
But i wanted the skyrim feeling and except for being blinded the game delivers pretty well.

I guess L2P is the solution here

I dont think I could play my healer in 1st person view...
