Speed Hacks - Working as intended?

Surely ZoS has the ability to detect speed hacks in the game. I keep seeing these naked bots running like Flash. Through mountains and buildings too.

I can't imagine any PVP oriented game that didn't build that into their servers. Please tell me you did.

I would imagine that once they discover how the exploit is being forced, they will easily be able to detect it. The key is for them to figure out what the bot creator is doing to force the exploit.
I'm not as am as you drunk I think.

They are not detecting anything right now... or the bots would be instantly and automatically banned....

That is actually their problem, they have to do it manually... catch them doing their thing. I would expect its the same with cheaters in PvP...

Any veteran mmo player will let them know how they achieve it, because is the same *** lame way they have been doing it in every other mmo since ages long past.

There is something called player coords that would let them instantly ban those who are using speedhacks by calculating (x,y) variations and obviously, player movement speed.

The system parse the "positives" with player (z) variation to avoid banning players that are esencially falling, and not speedhacking.

That is mmo anticheat systems 101. But ZMO missed the class and went after some moonsugar hotshots.

This is the first MMO ever released, so of course the developers have no lessons available to them from previous MMOs.

Oh, and bots are a new thing too.
