Visually stuck in the shadow wood for 3 days, support not responding

For 3 days now I am visually stuck in the shadow wood after doing the quests in greenshade where you are fighting against the shade of prince neamon.

My whole screen has this dark blue-ish tint and not relogging, switching servers, teleporting or dying will fix it.

I opened a support ticket and got escalated once, but after that no one ever contacted me or responded to my emails.

Please can somebody help me or follow up on my support ticket :(

    No idea about this quest, but did you have to put on a disguise or something that is still sitting in your appearance slot that might affect the way you see?

    Here's the fix, vaQowy

    - Go to the folder:

    C:\Users\Admin\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live

    and open this file in a text editor:

    UserSettings.txt

    - Change SET COLOR_CORRECTION “1″ to SET COLOR_CORRECTION “0″

    - Restart the game and it will be ok again.

    For me colour correction was advised by the CS team but just made it worse.

    I do not think this is a local client issue but a flag set on your character on the server - if it behaves like mine did when you load your toon you get a sound & the screen briefly goes totally dark before loading in the shadow forest colours.

    I got stuck while doing Blight of the Bosmer - for me the fix involved doing Right of Theft which is another quest in the same chain. On completing the second quest it correctly reset my colours to base.

    It does appear the color settings change works for some, but not all. Seems there's a few flavors of this, happening with different quests. This thread lays out a number of fixes that work for people, usually involving running around certain areas:

    try reinstall the game, it remembers your char if everything else fails

    You may not like it but I'd recommend calling in and go through the hold queue.

    While disabling color correction fixes the symptoms (thanks for that) it does not fix the cause, and furthermore I may want to have that effect if it is actually applicable, so I would really appreciate someone from zenimax removing that flag from my character :D

    EDIT: Running around the area pointed out in the linked thread worked, thanks a lot, I can finally appreciate the sun again :D

    I was in that situation too, I thought it was a bug but it turned out to be that I needed to start a second quest in that area to make it go away.
