Bots in Windhelm

I'm hoping this will be of use in some way.
Windhelm is FULL of obvious bots (random names in starter rags). I was doing the Shadows over Windhelm quest when each one came to retrieve a cache then died, one after another. What the point of that was I've no idea, but perhaps it can be stopped.
Edit: My goodness there are hundreds of them. I can hardly get close to the quest giver!

Well, goody for you. Back to the OP.

They die so to save themselves the time to travel. It is most likely the quest giver is closer to a wayshrine than running back to hand in said quest which no doubt offers a substantial gold reward.

The more posts created about bots and gold sellers the better in my opinion. This is not something to remain quiet about, nor should having to add to other posts be mandatory. Cry out as loud as you can and as often as you can. This situation must be dealt with.

Please IP ban all connections from the ISP's that are allowing this bot traffic... these are not players but organisations that exploit MMO's

These bots are so hardcore about finding every little nook & cranny to exploit. It's appalling.

Hello,
Im in Windhelm and i also so all theses bots.
Like Tonyb said, they are poping from the oratory, seem to take a quest, then run through the city, take some loots from creates and die.
Im here for an hour watching them. They are countless !
They all have a random name and are lvl 2-3.
I think someone is testing a script beacause it seems to bug from time to time. Some of the bots are flying through the wall in another way.

Almost all the starting areas are bot infested. Yesterday, I spent a good amount of time watching bots running circuits right outside of Daggerfall, killing mobs and grabbing resources. A GM makes an announced appearance and like a light being turned on in a sleezy inn, the cockroaches... err, bots, scatter until the GM logs off.

Yeah, and once players see something being done about the bot issue, we'll probably see a marked decrease in new threads complaining about bots.

Otherwise, stand by for more of the same.
