CANT COLLECT PYANDONEAN RAY

Anyone else have this problem in Kenarthi's Roost? I've fished up the Pyandonean Ray twice, and pressed collect but it doesn't show up in my inventory nor did I get the achievement. And no my bag wasn't full

The same thing has happened to me, multiple times. I've sent in a bug report about it. I managed to grab a screencap of catching it, but the same thing always happens... nothing in my inventory (not full) and no achievement.

This is the bug that made me give up fishing entirely. rassenfrassing ray.

I had looked forward to fishing, but it's both tedious, and the rewards disappear?

I tried fishing in Auridon, and came across this:


It also disappeared when I tried picking it up.
It looks like fishing is currently bugged, and any fish of Green or better quality simply cannot be picked up.
The achievement for those fishes, though, seems to work. So there's that, at least.

Okay guys, it's not just the Pyandonean Ray. My fishing group moved on to Auridon, we all caught Mola fish (one of the 12 for the Auridon fishing achievement)... again.. nothing in inventory for any of us, and no progress for the achievement.

This is pretty depressing. I was really looking forward to a fun fishing tour with my buddies, but it looks like all the special fish may be broken. Can we get something done about this please?

I have had the exact thing just happen to me. Caught two and couldn't collect either and didn't get the achievement for it either.

I fished once during beta and I was severally disappointed with the whole thing. I was expecting fishing to be really cool and done well but that aint the case at all. Cant use the fish in crafting like cooking or alchemy. Can only fish at nodes which sucks & to me its a serious immersion breaker. The whole system is lacking in so many ways its pathetic! No real thought was even put into fishing. They just slapped something cheap together and said "there ya go people". There is so many things that you can do with fishing to actually make it rewarding & fun but thats not what we got. All you get is achievements.....wooopy deeee. Now Square Enix knows how to put together a real fishing system and I have seen MUCH better fishing systems in free games then the one Zenimax has cheaply slapped together. If your not gunna make something nice then dont even bother, its just insulting! Sorry I sound like a hard ars but for $80 I EXPECT a job well done!!! Now there are some things they have done very good work on and thats why I keep playing but its the cheap, slapped together stuff in the game that just disappoints me so badly to the point where it almost out weighs the good work.
I suppose we can hope some day that they might actually give it a nice face lift but dont hold your breath!
