All of Coldharbour main quest reset

Here is a copy of my ticket:

Logged in tonight approx. 6:30pm inside Hollow City Vault, everything was normal, Angier was there. Deposited some items for alts. Swapped characters, retrieved items, logged Main back in to play proper.

When I logged Main back in, there was no NPC or players, but system messages came up to say this quest had completed, that quest had completed etc (they appeared to be main story quests, I thought it was a bit odd but didn’t thing too much about it).

Anyway, as there was no NPC I did a /reloadUI. Didn’t work. I relogged. Again, no NPC. I decide to run out of the bank and come back in. I go out, but when I turn to come in, the way is barred as it had been during the initial phase. I begin to suspect that something has gone amiss, but decide I will just enter the cathedral which was the next part of the main quest.

When I get close, I see a black marker and at the top of the cathedral stairs is The Groundskeeper with a quest – Rescue the King and the Mage!

It appears that the zone has somehow reset for me, yet Angof and the Mages whom I rescued from The Observer’s Endless War are in Hollow City.

Has anyone had this happen to them? I am guessing the small patch this evening has somehow wiped my progress.

I remember reading in another post that heading to the cathedral and talking to the groundskeeper again will put u in the correct phase. Not sure if it works though.

I thought it was going to be on an infinite loop, because first time it just said completed, blah blah and then gave me the quest again, but speaking to her a second time worked.

I am so sorry about this Richard.

In case it wasn't clear in my reply to Lucifer, the first time I spoke to The Groundskeeper, it came up with the complete messages (for rescue missions) but still hadn't reset the zone. I had to speak to her again before her dialogue moved on and the world righted itself.

I really hope you get this sorted out. I died a little last night when it happened to me...it is such a major mishap...so I know how you must be feeling.

I had this after the patch and completed Coldharbour without any problems at all.

All I can say is that from my experience: If you have the icons for the relevant 'rescue' on your map turned white (i.e. completed) then you can continue to do all the others and still end up with the correct quest at the correct time from The Groundskeeper.

I thought I would have to do it all again but I didn't. So go ahead, continue to play and use your map markers not the quest tracker as you source of info for previous actions taken in the zone. Also for the merida lights total, go to your achievements. Your total is there. Just another way to double check.
