Bots in Cyrodiil

I'm in Cyrodill. Bots are out here and they have been doing the same thing for over an hour now. I can't report them because I can not get the screen to pop up. I'm not sure if this is because they are constantly in motion but it's annoying. I't also annoying that after all the complaints Z has done virtually nothing about this problem. I cancelled my subscription today. I'm playing till the end of this next cycle and will only renew if this game gets fixed. This is shameful how you are handling bots. Sure every game has bots but ESO is the only one where they designed the games so badly that they effect everything. In WoW you never even see bots and if you do they aren't doing anything that affects your gameplay. In ESO they are game breaking.

Also it's been widely reported that the botters accounts are not getting banned, just the characters they catch deleted. So the botters have no incentive to stop because the punishment doesn't fit the crime. If this isn't true then I dare one Employee to flat out tell us differently.

    name and shame is a no no Edit the post and remove names wouldn't want you to get in trouble

    Maybe you can post location and campaign. Players from a different alliance can take care of that problem, since zenimax doesn't.

    PvP is dead, so it's a great place for bots to set up shop.

    PvP is actually the worse place for bots to be. While I don't welcome the news of bots branching into new areas, be a GG and tell us the location and campaign. Why should GMs have all the fun of bashing bots.

    BTW, the reports I've seen are bot accounts get instantly banned when a GM sweeps through. Do you have a source on characters only getting deleted?

    You can report EP/AD bots on the european server to me. >:)
    I am sure you will find a kind soul taking care of DC bots, too.

    Was it bots or multiboxers? There is a difference, and not quite sure of their stance on someone running multiple chars. I've run into a multiboxer in cyrodiil dungeons before, was easy AP.

    If anything would get me into doing PvP in this game, this would be it.

    Now, if someone could find some way to coordinate this...

    Though it would be a SERIOUS black mark against ZOS if a bot got crowned emperor....

    Wow isn't a fair comparison as they spent a RIDICULOUS amount of resources creating that program that is borderline illegal. In their terms of service you basically allow them to see everything running on your PC when logged into battle.net.

    Any other current MMO would be a much more fair comparison..

    Not defending the way bots are being handled, but just stating the fact.

    The bots' server and campaign have already been asked for, but with no response, so I'm wondering if this is even legit. If so, post their server/campaign and we the players will serve quick and merciless justice.

    They were bots. They were running the same pattern over and over again. I named the bots but was told not to name and shame. The server was Skull Crusher and they were on the Ebonheart Side
