Missing bank items? Again?

What the Hell? Today I purchased upgrade for bank 120 -> 140 and a while after I notice 30 items lost from my bank??? Where do I submit this? Ingame Ticket? May it be because of American server being in maintenance atm?

I thought missing bank items were already solved while ago?

Open a ticket through support and expect to wait a while for a response.

Oh well ... after a friend gave me an advice I tried relogging onto an alt, and boom the items are back! Strange I relogged multiple time with my main but no items and then one relog to alt fixes things ... something strange is working behind the bank databases ... ;-)

Anyways its solved for now ... is there a way to cancel ticket? Or even see opened tickets for my account?

Update:
Well the fix seems to be temporary as i zoned with my main just to find i dont see some stuff in bank again. Alt sees 137/140 items in bank. Main sees 110/140 and another relog 115/140 ... also the char switch seems to fix my main char The items are evidently still there but I am afraid what happens when main char tries to put something inside bank thinking there is room ... will it overwrite the old items?

Anyone has same experience? Or know how to fix this?

This is a known issue (at least with me, I had the same problem). Zenimax told me to stop buying bank slots until it fixed (been a month since they told me this). i just use a alternate to get all the items that were "missing" .

Your items aren't lost, they just aren't displayed. If a stackable item such as an upgrade mat goes missing, you can still deposit more into an already full bank. Also, even though it says something like 110/120, your bank will still refuse to accept new items. Edit for clarification - You will NOT lose items trying to deposit something, as if the items that aren't displayed are overridden. The bank will not let you deposit unless there is a true empty space.

Basically the items are there, its just a display issue. A relog normally fixes it, but it is a recent problem and it is frustrating.

its happening to me too varying between being able to see 120-140 out of 170 slots. Reloging only changes the amount of slots i can see in the bank. It is very annoying as i need mats to level and craft as they are not available at stations when you cant see the slots in the bank.

The CS told me the items are still there but invisible. Which is true.
I can see the invisible items with the alt that put them in though.
Also, if I stack a similar item from my inventory on top of an invisible stack, the stack becomes visible.
Sometimes relogging makes the items visibile again. Sometimes it doesn't. Hope it helps a bit.

For those having trouble with bank slots that you can't see mine was caused by an addon i'm guessing. I got the same issue so removed all my addons and everything was back to normal. I was running like 16 of them and don't want to take the time to turn one on and check and repeat hehe so I'm just addon free till each of them gets some kind of update.

This is the response from Customer Support when I filed a ticket yesterday:

"I am very sorry to hear that you are having this issue. We have identified an issue that may cause players with large numbers of bag and shared bank slots unlocked to receive a message stating that the bank is full when you should have empty space. Affected players may also notice that some items that were previously stored in the bank are no longer viewable.

We are aware of this issue, and are currently working towards a resolution. In the meantime, the good news is that the items are not gone for good, they just are not viewable in certain situations."


What works for me is just logging in to an alt and grab the item that wasn't viewable. Gonna set up a mule aswell to store the items that are not really necessary to have in the bank.
I have 180 bank slots and I started having problems after the 150th upgrade.

So just an important thing: The items are not gone, they are just invisible for that particular character.

I was assuming the same thing, but I removed all addons and restarted / relogged several times and the issue was still happening. So not sure.

From my experience the issue happens after u upgrade ur bank past 130 slots.I spent a ton of gold upgrading from 120-200 and realized its not worth upgrading any further till this issue is sorted. Really frustrating .

yeah they were supposed to be, just like the COMBAT BUG where combat stops working. But again, my Nightblade whilst in combat, it stops functioning, and i have to do a /reloadui to fix it. It seems like it gets FIXED, then broken, then fixed, then broken... or maybe it was broken all along and they said they fixed it. Who knows.

Can we please get an official answer on this? I had the previous bug and it was a total PITA to get compensated for that. Is it safe to use the bank? Is it safe to move items between characters? Is it even safe to play the game?

Should we not use the bank to prevent something like this from happening?

Also can happen when taking items from a COD Mail. There was another post about it 10 mins after the patch coming out but it's been buried.

The slota as I wrote isn't missing but just invisible so it's safe to use the bank. It's just a hassle when you wabt a specific item that's invisible but you can work around it with logging in with an alt.

randomly happening to me still... sometimes 170 slots are there then back to 140/170. It is a massive PITA as the mats stored are not available at crafting benches. logon logoff sometimes helps but just goes back after an hour or two.
