Best lore, amazing attitude, their speech makes me smile and that wiggling tail is to die for. I love seeing argonians in action. Sadly I dont play one due to horrible passives. If they ever balance racials and offer a race change, I'd definitely go hatchling.

As for ESO it's Imperial, as they're the most versatile ones.

Argonian has always been my favorite! For ESO i use Imperial and Altmer though, because of the racials.

Gonna have to go with Altmer on this one. While I don't much like the attitude of some High Elves, their dedication to culture and intellectual pursuits appeals to me, not to mention their unparalleled mastery of magic.

My main reason for being an Altmer fan, though, is their extremely long lifespans. To me, this puts the Altmer (along with the Dunmer) at the top of the food chain when it comes to raw skill - martial, magical, or otherwise. After 4 or 5 decades of practice with a given pursuit, most of the other races vitality has begun to wane. Not so the High Elves. They're just getting started.

I don't mean to sound like an Altmer supremacist here, but having a few centuries to study a craft (while remaining at the top of your game both physically and mentally) leads me to believe that a single Altmer's skill with any art would FAR outpace those of the shorter-lived races. Same goes for Dunmer.

I know game mechanics trumps lore, but them's my 2 Septims.



P.S.: And the fact that the Altmer gave us the Psijic Order just trumps ERRYTHANG in my book.

I have a soft spot for Redguards because my first ever TES character was a Redguard, back in the Morrowind days. But I went Imperial because I am Italian (well, Italian-American) in real life and Imperials are just thinly-veiled Romans. Plus, they are the easiest race to make the character look like me. I don't roleplay. All my characters are just me, but with better hair. :-)

I just really love the Little Elves because of the lovely archery skill and their willpower, they just have allot of things that I like comined. But Kajiit and Redguards come in a close joined second because of plain awesomeness, I also like Bretons because you can go full battlemage which is fun while questing and their lore is pretty cool.

Argonian for me as I always liked the what they always brought to the table in terms of passives across the games. Not to mention that they were the most fun to fiddle with on character creation because of near unrestricted, until more recent ones but still decent range, color pallets due to the reptilian like qualities. I would have one on ESO as well if I knew how to build one correctly on here. This is probably the only game where it wasn't my main race only because I haven't quite found the setup I like for that race yet.

Imperial and Breton. Though I will use Breton for builds that require a lot of magicka. I probably like Imperial the most because it's not based too heavily on one thing. Extra health and stamina.. well, that's useful for anything really. Those extra dodge rolls and break frees on my mag build? Yes please. Besides, my low level chars have access to a lot of CP's - if I need spell resistance, max mag and mag regen, I'll just use those. Makes me feel like I'm not restricted to the "recommended" class for my particular build and let's me choose Imperial without worrying too much.
