Toothmaul Gully Boss Issues

I've had two characters try to complete the Toothmaul Gully boss achievement. Both had the same problem with the achievement not getting checked off. I submitted a help ticket the first time (I killed Nitch but the bullet point for him wasn't checked off). My ticket was escalated and the CS told me that she could tell I had completed the objective and that I should have gotten credit. After the couple of CS suggestions didn't help (reloading my UI and repairing my client), the only thing she could tell me was to go kill Nitch again. I thought this was reasonable, but it's proving to be trickier than anticipated. The four times I went back to check, I never managed to find him or any other bosses spawning,and there were no boss corpses lying around at any of the spawn points, indicating that none of them had been killed recently. Does the dungeon purposefully have boss dry spells?

I tried the same dungeon achievement with another character. The bosses were spawning, but I only got credit if I (and not the person I grouped with) got the last hit. It's very frustrating to find the boss, get him nearly dead, and then be robbed of the achievement by a passing player who gets the last hit. In other dungeons, anyone who hits the boss gets credit when the boss dies. But I can see how it might be intentional to make the achievement difficult to get.

However, my group member was getting credit for the bosses we killed when he got the last hit, but I was not getting credit even though I was doing more DPS. I personally had to get the last hit to receive credit even though we were grouped together. We're having to hunt down every boss at least twice (once for me and once for him and that is only if there are no other players around) and try to beat all the other players to the last hit. I'm pretty sure this non-group-friendly issue is not purposeful.

Does anyone else have this issue? Is this achievement working as intended?

    I killed every single boss in that public group dungeon 5 times over with a random person. I got the achievement on 1 of them after 5 kills of each boss, while the other person got the achievement for killing 3 of them out of 5 kills on each boss.

    It's definitely bugged.

    I finished it as VR10 yesterday, had another VR10 with me. Only one of us each time got teh archivement. So I assume the bug is, that only the person with the killing blow gets it.

    As a side question, Rock Wing in Newt Cave in Cyrodiil. Did anyone ever see that boss?

    I talked to someone in zone chat who got (or at least claimed to have gotten) the Toothmaul Gully achievement properly while in a group, so it seems that it may not be bugged in this manner for everyone. It might be helpful in the bug squashing process to clarify who does and doesn't have this issue. Anybody experience this lack of bug in a group?

    I was in a group with someone else when we killed all the bosses 5 times over. I got 1 check off my Achievement list while he got 3. They take forever to respawn too, so we had time to fill our bags, go sell, come back and sell 3 times during that time before we finally gave up.

    Yes I've seen that boss! Had to camp it for 1,5-2 hours! No idea how long before I arrived there it was killed. It has a long respawn timer for sure. It spawns in the water in the sidecave with the other bats and bugs.

    It seems to me that, if a boss is hard to find (like the Toothmaul Gully bosses or other bosses with super long respawn timers or strange respawn cycles) anyone who hits it ought to get credit, especially if grouped together.

    The must-get-last-hit mechanic seems much more reasonable on the frequently respawning bosses, like most of the ordinary cave bosses. Yet you don't have to. That, combined with CS's inability to help me, is what makes me think the Toothmaul Gully bosses are not working as intended.

    Yeah this is messed up - just spent a lot of time in here wondering what the heck is going on. This is just wrong man. Haven't got credit yet for one boss, yet did a hell of a lot of damage on them with my Sorc. Even came back as VR4 - still no go. I suppose if I come back VR10 and solo it will work. Please fix this one ZeniMax!

    Hi,

    got atm all boss kills proper. imho it is important, that you get dmg by the bosses before you kill them.

    except one boss - slakkith and gorg - the respawn is a big joke by zos, while writing this i am 94 mins in place waiting for spawn... this is a nice joke to waste payed playing time......... :(

    There is something else, if there are 6 bosses, and 3 are up, you have to kill those 3 first before the other spawn, that's how I was able to complete all the achievements without having to wait for hours
