Dont know if you guys tried this, but it have helped me and guild members, none of us got stuck so far again after it.
Open the ZO_Ingame.lua and delete all content in it, close it down do not delete the file itself. Now rightclick it and make it writeprotected so the game cant write to the file.
Or create an empty file called ZO_Ingame.lua and copy it over the old file in the savevariables folder, and make sure it is read only.
I don't know if there are people that are always stuck in loading and thus are unable to play so I won't speak about that problem, but for those like me (mostly Cyrodiil) that have it every now and then I can only advice to alt-F4 to close the game and restart the game. For me personally it works 90% of the time (the other 10% I have to do it more than once. The loading time is usually short after a restart.
When you are stuck in a loading screen for too long, chances are it is stuck, period. So restart the game and hope for the best.
It doesn't work. The file ZO_Ingame.lua which is redownloaded is exactly the same size and checksum of the previous file.
During 2013 beta this file was messed up, and deleting it worked. Now, it's a placebo.
That is why you shouldnt delete it, you should empty the file so it doesnt contain anything, then make it read only so ESO cannot write to the file. You will have to resize the chatbox everytime you log in but you wont be stuck in loadingscreens. None of my guild members have been stuck after doing this.
