Not sure how you arrived at the idea of Fraud. They have a stated price for their service if your state or country charges a tax on top of it it is not fraud for Zen to collect that. To give you an example of how odd tax laws can be I live in Florida. I do not pay taxes on items I purchase from Amazon unless the item ships from their new distribution center located here in Florida then I am required to pay a state tax which Amazon is required to collect. If Zen's offices were located here in Florida I would be required to pay a tax on the sub fee. However, since they are not I do not have to pay it.

Welcome to the land of the daily grind of reality.
Fortunately being from such a backwoods state that does not really understand the internet, I am free of such a burden on my ESO bill.
However, they have everything else covered.

If a company has any presence in your state they are required to charge sales tax. Here in Florida since 5-1 we are being charged sales tax on Amazon purchases because they opened a warehouse here. The fact is that companies can be required to collect tax. Some other companies do it voluntarily. Death and taxes, you know.

Before the laws changed I never paid sales tax for stuff I bought off Amazon. Then the law changed in PA and now I have to pay sales tax. I need to sue Amazon cause they be doing illegal stuff and stuff.

You don't seem to have any idea of how internet services/sales/items are billed or taxed. And the laws changed. For years nothing I bought off Amazon was taxed; now it is. If they DIDN'T charge the tax it would be illegal.

You have so many issues with the game and Zenimax and all of their "illegal" money grabbing, why are you still here?

In most states you must have a physical be within the state to be required to collect the taxes. This does not apply to all states though

I think its a joke we are paying at all. I have sent dozens of support tickets. I have experienced about 98% of the game. Not one of these tickets have been taken care of. I EVEN HAD TO OPEN A DEBT CARD WITH A FAKE ADDRESS to get billing to work because even to this day, i cannot access my account or change my address. Zenemax cannot find or change my info is what an indian outsource person told me..

This game is in beta still and will be for another 6 months. Thats why they delayed console.

The hell are you on about? I can show you bank statements from a Washington bank showing sales tax paid on Blizzard(wow) and SOE(eq2) games.

That is also state dependent.

SOE and Blizzard are in CA. I do not pay sales tax on subs with either.

Wrong console was delayed due to issues affect the console systems specifically. Whine and cry all you like, But i doubt CS didnt get to you. If anything I've seen on this forums is people's unwillingness to sit down calmly and lean how the CS works. No every CS is the same. Sometimes the ticket could just be lost, its human nature to make mistakes. But if all else fails CALL THEM WAIT ON HOLD NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES, LEAVE MESSAGES, MAKE SURE THEY ARE GETTING THE MESSAGE, AND THAT YOU ARE BEING CALM THE ENTIRE TIME. even if they want your business they still have their own policies. many CS groups will hang up on you if you are irate and verbal with curse words. and I also hope you realize Indians also live in the US, and UK. So i doubt this was outsource as you claim. so many hole in your big rant, when mabey you should have just calmed down and work through your problems instead of jkust blaming it on someone, that probably has no control over the issue.

How is having to charge a sales tax fraud?
That money goes to the local government agency, not to Zeni or Beths.

I live in Ohio and was charged a tax. The only internet sales that Ohio charges taxes on is when the seller and the buyer are in Ohio. I submitted a ticket and was told some states charge tax, sorry. Not my state.
