You kept aking players to report the bot, but this is not the solution!

When there is 1 bot every second, in exactly same spot, there is no way people can report it efficiently.

You need to station a GM there, or simply close the addon mechanism that allows this type of boting.

so that's one of those mulitboxing bots I've heard about, but havent noticed yet. so if that is all one account...doesn't that mean that report one and ban... all of them are gone? I just reached Reapers March so I dont have as much experience, bu each zone I go up in, the less often I get spam mail, which pretty much was like one every other day. From my perspective I think they have done a good job over the last month, I only hear about his stuff being in Area 1

This coldharbour situation has been reported many days back, the fact that it is continuing suggests that banning one account is not the solution.

There are literally one every second, which means 3600 per hr and 86,400 per day. It can't be due to one rouge account.

There is something deeper wrong that allows this, I suspect its the addon system, and they need to look at it and fix it from a deeper level.

Asking player to report these is not a realistic solution and they should know it.

It's not one account, its several accounts being played through one mouse/keyboard.

Also, another problem with this game is the bot visibility, since there are no wasted space areas, you always see bots since there is nowhere for them to hide, I doubt the botting problem is much more severe than it is in other MMO's, just much more visible being as that you basically go everywhere in each zone, and there are only a few locations with mobs suitable for botting.

Its not the addon system. You cant do that kind of work with the api. Games that dont allow addons also have bots so...

so what is it? don't tell me there is an organization of 10,000 people, each bought a copy of game and running 8 bots every seconds.

It's botting software, that is totally unrelated to addons. It can be programmed in many different ways. The people that are in charge of the bots are not doing this manually and they are not in any way doing it using addons.
