Phased PVP please!

Came up with an interesting idea while toying with the notion of persistent world PVP today. While I am certain we will never see the option to be able to gank the bots, there IS an option we could see implemented into the current megaserver architecture with minimal effort and overhead.

I speak of phased world PVP.

The concept is simple: Give people the ability to flag themselves PVP. Then, using the existing phase system, make it so while flagged you only run into other people in the world that are also flagged for PVP.

As we have seen with the instant respawning gathering nodes, they already have code in place to alter node spawn rates (and other rates) based on the number of people in that phase, so it shouldn't be too hard to balance that.

I think this would be really simple to implement and add a lot of fun and diversity for people who enjoy that sort of play style even at low levels.

What do you think?

No. Spreading PvP out to more areas doesn't improve the experience, it diminishes it imo.

I have to agree with the no. Mostly because the PvP is set to center around the grand war ongoing.
Moving it out to other areas would just be throwing out another reason to not head over to Cyrodil.
