My main char is a templar in V2 content allready in Dawnbreaker campaign.

I decide to play a Sorcerer when i got to level 10 i got the mail for Cridiil but did not think nothing of it.

when i hit level 11 i decided to join Dawnbreaker but i could not i could select it to make it my home campaign but when i went to press E to confirm nothing was happening.

What can i do to join the campaign.

Thank's

Think you cannot play different factions in the same campaign to prevent spying/trolling.

Do you have mule characters of other factions?

I had a problem a while back where I created mules in other factions, just for variety. At the time, what happened at that time is that when I created the alts in those other factions it automatically assigned them to the same campaign that I had chosen on my main. When I later leveled an alt of the same faction, I could not select a campaign for that character.

I ended up creating new mules of the same faction and deleting the ones in the other factions. I was then able to select a campaign for my alt. So, if you have mules in other factions try deleting them.

Changing the campaign of the alts in other factions might work, but that would require alliance points to switch.

They have since fixed it so new characters are not automatically assigned to your campaign, but if you created the alts prior to that, it may still be a problem for you.

Thank's for the reply's but i am in the same faction and no other faction alt's are above level 5.

But since i loged out then reloged about 2 hours later the Locked icon is appering now (i tried to log and in several times when i tried to select my home campaign) for my faction so i just presume now i can not select dawnbreaker has my home because it is now showing as (full/locked) for my faction.

    Right update on this.

Having sent a ticket in and getting a reply i checked one of my alts that is in a different faction and it is assigned to Dawnbreaker even though it is only level 5.

Now when i try to "Unassign" it from the campaign i do not get any option's what am i surposed to do.

I did not assign it in the first place as it is only level 5 so how do i change it without any option to do so?

I may have to do what @TicToc posted

Yeah. That was the problem I had. You don't level mules, so my characters in the other factions were only level 3, but they still had been assigned automatically to the PvP campaign. Deleting them fixed the problem with my alt.

I wish this was true, but it is not. I currently have an alt of every faction on Ariel's Bow. Two of which are stuck because of the same issue as the OP. One character I managed to move to Wabba after a relog, but the others are still stuck there.

I do have a feeling that it is intended that you can't play on the same campaign with alts in different factions, but currently we have a bug that assigns a new alt at lvl 1 to a home campaign and those are now bugged and stuck.

Let's hope it is their intention to prohibit alts of different factions within the same campaign. Time will tell.
