Game crashed. Re-launch game client - ALL toons are naked. ALL toons bags are empty!

Has anyone else experienced this?
I was in Rivenspire on my lvl 47 main toon (catching up on some quests I missed).
Lag has been REALLY bad (i.e. can't swap action bars, can't loot, can't pick herbs/mine). I try to run in to get some hits in before the world boss dies when everyone stops moving. I couldn't cast any spells. My game then *** itself. I closed the launcher, re-ran it, logged in, and all of my toons are naked. Completely naked. I log in to each one and their gold is there (thank goodness) but ALL of my bags and bank is empty.
The guild bank looked empty as well, but no one else was logged on to check for me.
This has me greatly worried as I was storing a lot of crafting mats. I mean, I love crafting in ESO and I have a LOT of valuable mats in there. Some nice purple gear, too.
I've logged a ticket but I'm just worried.
The only thing that gives me hope is that:
1) EVERYONE else looked naked on my screen also
2) the gold was there
I'm just hoping it was a lot of lag and nothing could be retrieved.

Auric_ESO✭✭✭✭It's probably due to that lag you were getting. It's taking time for your computer to get the info and display it for you. GossiTheDog✭✭✭✭✭Type /zone and ask the whole area. I doubt it is lag. You aren't first person to have this problem, search forum for naked lost items.0 -
Sandmanninja✭✭✭✭i've renamed both my game folder and my user data folder and am re-installing the game fresh. I just had my son log on to my computer and his toons are naked as well. I can only figure (hope?) that it's a corrupt file and my stuff is still there. No one in /zone or /s in the bank is having the same issue as me right now. Sandmanninja✭✭✭✭I will say in ZOS' defense, I was contacted within minutes of me logging the ticket initially. It was escalated to 2nd level after several methods were used to try to fix this issue. At the 6 hour mark, I got an email from 3rd level support.
20+ gigs is a lot of data! I've downloaded 18.5 gigs so far, so hopefully in 30 minutes I should know something.
Will I keep playing if this doesn't "fix" it? I will if they recovered my items (or close enough to what I had saved up over 47 levels). For me, the game is about crafting and I had all of the motifs (couldn't learn the last 3 because my Black Smith isn't high enough yet) and those just aren't readily replaceable.[Hard Mode Dungeoneers] is recruiting all players of all levels for this new Guild.
