Looting the mobs is blocked sometimes

Tell me is this a common and problem or not. Should I make a ticket or the ticket will be one of millions alike?

For about two weeks I have the following problem. Sometimes after killing random mob I can't loot his body, although it's glowing yellow. I hear short "beep" sound (like in full inventory cases) and nothing else happens. I face the issue few times in one game session, so needless to say it's pretty troublesome. If I decide to not give up I can wait. Sometimes waiting works, but the waiting duration is always different. Sometimes it works when I run away from the body and come again. It also happened to me while I was about to retrieve the fork from Korthor's body (Mages Guild quest). I was afraid I will stuck in this cave

I've had similar issues, although not with a quest NPC that has a quest item.
Sometimes drawing a different mob over and killing it so that it dies and can be looted nearby will get you all the loot from both bodies.
Or you can try to relog, I am not sure how that would affect the quest you are on though.

Usually when I cannot loot a body, it means I am stuck in terms of combat for the next fight anyway and no skills or combat actions will work properly, are you a Nightblade by any chance?

So it looks like it happens rarely in community. I'm going to make a ticket today as soon as the issue occurs.

Exactly! It's the same issue.

It seems to be independent of the class. It was happening to my Nighblade, but in this week it is also happening to my Sorcerer. I'm also facing problems with not working skills or staff but these are well known bugs

Happened to me also a couple of times. If I run away for some seconds and come back to the body, I can loot. This workaround helps me in most cases. I had the feeling that my volatile familiar wanted to loot his/my kill. Leading him away from the body usually helps.

Well you have been answered, but I have seen this strange bug also. Fortunately not for some time. No idea why it stopped as quick as it started, I just hope it does not come back.

Can confirm this. waited for another mob to spawn and looted him - first one got looted too this way. Funny thing is that i got purple bow this way - not sure from which one of two mobs it came, but i was kinda "wow, i could have missed it!"

Rather than running away and coming back, try opening your inventory and closing it again. That works for me whenever i have a problem looting a corpse.
