Sorceror Familiar keeps disappearing (a Bug?)

Ok, i am playing a sorceror, and my familiar is disappearing so frequently that i end up re-summoning it at least 10 times in the space of 15-20 mins. It doesn't die because i could be running along a non-hostile environment, then turn around.. and its gone again. I click C for character sheet and its apparently still there. I think "ok i will go fight something and see if it pops out to help me. But it doesn't. So i press button to summon it again, but this only unsummons it from my character sheet. I have to press my button a second time to actually re-summon the familiar. It happens to any familiar. Currently i am a lvl 12 Breton Sorce using Clannfear. I also have a lvl 7 on Aldmeri Dominion and its doing it there as well. I got my husband to play his sorce for a while and its doing it to him too. I know that on beta, this wasn't an issue. But it is now. Anyone else experiencing this also? I have submitted a bug report for this, just in case.

I've had this happen as well. I usually have to hit the keybind to resummons it 2-3 times to resummons it. It seems to happen more often when moving over terrain like rocks, hills and stairs. I think it's either getting stuck on elevation or hung up on a terrain object and despawning. I filed a bug report in game on it.

Yup. Outside of mine disappearing after i zone from one place to another, the only other thing I can think of is it is off fighting something that I aggroed a way back.

Only reason I say this, is because i couldn't find my clannfear, so I resummoned it, and it turned and ran off towards what I assumed to be a mob that aggroed me while I was exploring.

I've had them just disappear and stay gone or disappear just after I summoned them. This is really bad in Cold Harbor..X_X! It is a bug as far as I am concerned, but what I find funny even if it annoys me greatly..is I can you a way shrine and you see loading screen but my summoner pets are there, I go into dungeons that have 2 or three loading screens I have to recall them each time.

I noticed this yesterday. Happened several times when I would harvest a node or open a chest.

When grouping with my hubby, I have seen his character disappear sometimes as he is running a bit ahead, then reappear again. My familiar will often make a poof sound in the exact same place. I think there are pockets in the layers we are in that affect our pets and can sometimes make them disappear.

This has been happening to me CONSTANTLY. Today, I pretty much gave up playing the game because now he just stands in the background while whatever is fighting me slaughters me.

Yeah, the constantly disappearing familiar is so annoying, its is the main reason why i am sort of putting playing a sorceror on HOLD at the moment. A week ago mine was making a POOF sound that was driving me crazy, but now it just disappears. There is a section in a town where he kept disappearing. I died there thanks to him ditching me. After i rezzed and killed the mob, i walked backwards watching my familiar, and surely enough, i saw him completely disappear. On my character buffs down at the bottom, according to the sheet, he should still be there but i think he is now phased elsewhere and stays there. So i pushed the summoning button TWICE and re-summoned him to test it again. And that exact same area, he disappeared again. I have opened two Bug reports asking for them to Pleeaaase fix this issue. Can you all please do the same if you haven't already. Hopefully they will prompt them to look into it asap.

my clannfear sometimes disappears in thin air as well, especially when I'm around deleyn's mill or crosswych, glenumbra.

I've posted in a few threads before I think, but when I contacted zos about this disappearing clannfear, the answer I got from them was:

We apologize for any inconvenience your Clannfear seems to be giving you, we have sent the notes on your Clannfear to our sorcerers to look it over. Once they have finished searching their bookshelves for the correct scroll they will contact you with their answer.
