Templar Mending Passive - Critical Damage or Critical Heal?

The "Mending" passive for the Templar says it increases critical chance. Does this mean people being healed have an extra chance to do critical damage to the enemies they are fighting? Or does it mean the heal itself has a better chance to heal, say, 450 health instead of the regular 300 health?

Vordar✭✭I think it means that people healed have an increased critical chance, says something like "Increased critical chance on allies", not sure tho.0
