A few proposals for improvement

There are lots of discussions regarding areas of improvement. I'm going to leave a few of my own here. I won't go into changes to game systems (loot, class balancing, etc) because those need to be very carefully considered. My intention instead is to point out a couple of areas that could contribute to a more enjoyable playing experience with no changes to game mechanics. That said:

- Please add level/tiering to provisioning mats. It's tiring to have to refer to third party websites to identify potentially interesting ingredients. Tiering (white/green/blue/purple/gold), tied to the rarity of ingredients, would be particularly appreciated so you can immediately recognize the keepers (especially now that their drop rate has been cut so heavily). Every other profession already has tiered mats, so it only makes sense to add it to provisioning.

- Please improve the inventory/bank UI, e.g. by allowing different types of sorting: sort materials by crafting profession and tier; weapons and armor by type and tier; etc.

- Please add visual cues to indicate whether a trait on a given piece of gear has already been researched, e.g. by adding "already known" in the tooltip, after the trait. I, for one, lose hours sorting through my loot to determine what I can sell/deconstruct and what I wanna keep for researching.

- Please please PLEASE add text search to the guild stores. I don't know if I'm in a minority, but I have now left the only guild I had joined so far because I find the store basically useless.

They left all this kind of functionality to the modding fanbase. Addons can do all those things (install Minion and do a search though addons for things). If you want me to list some addons to cover the things you listed just say so and I'll reply back in here.

Ok, so I've installed Minion and a couple of add-ons that address the functionalities I described above. However, Minion is quite buggy now and doesn't track my add-ons correctly (it's supposedly being addressed, but who knows if and when it'll be fully working). As for the add-ons themselves, they seem to work well... right now, anyway. But in my experience in other games, some add-ons tend to be abandoned and break with game updates, forcing you to look for and get used to new add-ons, which may or may not provide the funtionalities you wanted.

Basically, I would really rather not use add-ons, especially for basic functions such as guild store search. Guild stores are all but unusable without it. Not all players will know to get add-ons or how to configure and use them. The developers shouldn't be allowed to get off the hook because "there's an add-on for that". But that's just my opinion.
