Zenimax already sells a horse in the cash shop. I would say that is a bigger advantage than a motif.
Methinks you have no idea what's being discussed here if you think that comment is relevant to this topic, these nodes are PER PLAYER so 'parasites' can't affect you AT ALL; so your sneer at ZOS is entirely groudless.I rarely see many containers full these days because the Parasites have been through looting everything.
Since when? If I walk up to a cupboard and loot it, its looted to you! You can test this by going into any area with a lot of people and wait for them to loot!

Yeah, well, I can get a horse easily in game. Motifs and recipes I cannot get reliably. So selling them in a cash shop would be a slap in the face. I'm already mad enough about them selling the imperial race.

They did talk about instances loot or phased but I have yet to see it. Maybe the loot we get is a RNG for each person but regards a cupboard or locker being looted, that isn't.
By parasite, I meant to bots that make it their mission to loot every damn thing. If they don't need it, people should leave it. Also by parasite, I meant the people log on and off repeatedly. Oh and BTW, parasite is something that leaches of something else like for instance, if you have a vampire sucking out your blood, its a Parasite! Do try to quote Wiki's more because after all, they are gospal!
I won't update the totals just yet (will do that last thing before I finish playing)
But I have to point out that this morning isn't looking good at all !
103 containers opened
79 failed/bugged/empty
WTH... that's almost 80% I thought 60% was a joke but 80%.
Did Zeni sneak in another stealth nerf to drop rates? Its either that or the RNG just really hates me this morning !
Well containers that are empty say empty. These are containers that indicate some sort of contents, but as soon as you open them it says empty !question is, is this a bug? Has anyone gotten a response from ZOS regarding the lootable being empty? Or is it just that its part of game immersion to simulate a real enviro?

I'm kind of mad that I bought the Imperial race, but can't find the Imperial motif anywhere...shouldn't have to make a bunch of Imperial crafters just to be able to use that motif style thingy after paying money. I mean they made it so the Imperial motif was ridiculously rare...then they went and nerfed all the loot containers and made them even more rare /facepalm

Before berating a poster it's best to understand what's being said. You can use the Imperial 'look' of an item this way. But there is also a motif to craft items also;Zenimax already sells a horse in the cash shop. I would say that is a bigger advantage than a motif.

You dont craft any item right click change to imperial and you have a imperial item how hard is that?
That binds the item to account. What if I (as a crafter) want to sell or give away Imperial style items. Paid for the Imperial edition and get shafted due to bots, goldsellers, and exploiters. There's basically no hope of ever finding one.Zenimax already sells a horse in the cash shop. I would say that is a bigger advantage than a motif.

They could make the Imperial Motif Book buyable with Alliance Points. Making it very expensive, but at least..

You can't interact with them at all, and there's not a single usable container there (unless you're lucky to find a chest or heavy sack). Really wondering if this is by design or a bug as well... Feels odd to have huge instances where you can't interact with a single container.
So it's a bug that you open a container and it's empty? I think it's a feature. Not all containers can contain something, 60% whatever sounds pretty good.

Out of the 9000 containers (I did my testing in groups of 100, 5 times per day) that would have recipes, I had a ratio of 47% turning up empty. I continue to keep track of this as well...every day since I first noticed it. So far I've found 4 blue quality recipes. I understand that they need to be a bit rare, but this is ridiculous for 18 days of looting.
