Mod to identify other people with the mod (Roleplaying mod) - Possible?

Greetings. Apparently ZoS has benched the idea of allowing RPers to flag to be in an RP instance of zones. In light of this, I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to make a mod that lets you passively identify fellow roleplayers. Some way to get an indicator...any indicator...when you target someone that has the mod installed and wants to RP.

I am aware of RP guild and meeting people on the forums and whatnot, but to me the most fun RP is always impromptu. I will continue to research and possible look at the API. For now...

Is there any way to do this with the current mod API?

Currently, no. They removed all of the channel communication between players in the last API update. Hopefully they add it back in a limited state soon, because it leaves so many addon types impossible to implement.
