What would happen if they banned bots and gold spammers right away?

They can't just keep affording to buy accounts over and over. And if they're able to somehow screw ZoS over and keep buying and playing for free then why is ZoS letting them?
I don't understand why this is always a problem in mmos. These companies have every right to do whatever they want to do and deny you service without cause. All they have to do is ban them and not even look back. You can't sue them. The company has complete authority over you in these games. We agree to the Terms of Service. That's what it says in a nutshell. All of them do.
Eventually after you ban enough, they're going to give up and stop buying more copies. And why don't they check the IP of where all the bots are coming from and ban that IP address? At least for say 3 months.
Any of you know an explanation for this? I'm sure there's gotta be an easy one. I've heard that they are using credit cards to buy the game then refund it then buy it again or something. Why don't they just block the damn card? Something doesn't add up.

✭Simple, they would lose that portion of their income, and the practice itself wouldn't be money-effective.
These businesses do it because even when opening new accounts and paying that money, they make profit off the final sales. If they couldn't because they were getting shut down? They would mostly stop.
There are also guilds in MMO's who benefit from or operate/subsidize botfarming to fund their wars and activities, or higher cliques within it.

People need to stop buying gold lol. My god... that's a lot of people buying gold.0
