Well, there is a reason to kill thos humanoid NPC's. They did bad things or they attacked you. What did the squirrel do to you?Malediktus wrote: »I see nothing wrong with killing these useless creatures. Killing humanoid NPCs is fine but killing some stupid animals is not?

This reminds me of The Legend of Zelda where you could punch chickens and at some point all the chickens came to beat you up real bad. There was justice in these daysI killed a chicken the other day. Not a single NPC blinked an eye. Think it was in Glenumbra. I need to try it in the Rift and see what happens.

So I can kill minor creatures like rabbits, rats, squirrels, spiders, just to name a few, and loot them for guts, used in fishing. How come I can't kill any freaking cats??? Is there some kind group like PETA in game protecting them or do the Devs just like cats? I demand that cats be nerfed!
Sarenia, you are either missing my point or you are a cat lover. I don't kill sheep, snakes, spiders, deer, rabbits, squirrels, rats for the fun of it, well ok maybe rats, I kill them for their guts because I need guts to fish. My question is why are cats, or for that matter dogs exempt from my need for guts?

So fun if some mudcrabs get in my way and I'm always dead after the fight.MistryssNite wrote: »Wait...people actually kill the creatures on purpose? The only time I kill them is when they get in my way during a fight.
Yes. Peta only like the cute animals. Thats what the "Pet" part of their name stands for.So I can kill minor creatures like rabbits, rats, squirrels, spiders, just to name a few, and loot them for guts, used in fishing. It's the same reason why people eat beef, pork, chicken and not cat- and dogmeat. Cat's and dogs are pet's and to cute to be harmed. Any other animal is free to be eaten (if it's not too small or too "dirty" like rat's) or to be killed for fun. That's how it it whether it makes sense or not
