Combat Response (Lack of (Bug))

I'm fully enjoying The Elder Scrolls Online, however there is one flaw with this game that completely ruins the experience more than anything else for me: Combat Response or the lack thereof.....
I am extremely tired of hitting ability/feat/action buttons and getting no response to my actions in the middle of combat. I often need to button spam an action which can sometimes result in the action firing off twice. It's clearly evident I am pushing ability buttons because the corresponding icon in the action bar 'pushes' down by the ability doesn't fire off.
The more I play, the more I refine my timing for combat and when to hit buttons to do certain actions consecutively. But it's frustrating when nothing happens. No response to your action. An input with no output.
I want to blame this on the megaserver and it's lack of pinging back the client to action 'authorization'. If this is the case, maybe it's time to rethink the megaserver idea. I've never experienced this lack of action/response in a MMO before. This issue has been brought up many times in beta/previews as well.

Are you living in EU? If so check the official thread on EU megaserver.
At the moment we have US Megaserver1 and US Megaserver 2... We do not have any server that is location in EU.
I have the same problem as you have and there are many people who have the same issue. Some people fail to notice the lag because they are doing PvE only for now, some people just fail to notice that lag because they dont care, some people are lazy to come here and report it.0
