Start a new guild if need be; and try and plan for absences which can occur due to life.

If your guild is very large, then perhaps you will have a forums to contact or perhaps some of the officers know the leader very well and can get in contact with him outside of game. If it is a small guild of a few people then I would suggest you send the leader a mail that you have moved on but to mail you straight away once they return so you can rejoin their guild. You have 5 guild slots so if it is taking up space I am sure they won't mind. Real life happens and games do not come first... well not if you are a responsible person lol.

If you know who he is IRL, maybe send the cops to his place? Could be a situation there.

The ESO website says that if your guild leader has been gone for a long time, you should contact Customer Support.

A bit of an inelegant solution. It sounds as though the devs invision this situation never happening. I guess none of them have ever played MMOs. There should be an in-game solution such as other MMOs have.

Yeah real life and 1000s of other interests can get in way. Sometimes unintentional weeks could be missed, but once spare time we get back at this stuff we love .

But on another note, if a guild leader loses interest in a game, it's good practice to hand over the reigns.

Similar to when I managed fan groups on Livejournal. When I realised I had lost interest in the subject, I handed over the management to others to take over. It's best practice in these sorts of situations.

Had this happen in my guild. I msg'd them ahead of time knowing it was coming up to see how we deal with it and they said when the time is up, the guild votes a new leader in.

Most guilds have an assistant guild leader for these situations.

Given that the game has only been out a month, I have to wonder how long the GM has been absent - 3 days? A week? True, they should have plenty of officers around to be able to handle guild business when they're not on, but it's not fair to expect any player, even a GM, to be on every day. A proper guild should not be a set of the GM's groupies. The more redundant the guild leader, the healthier the guild.

na the Assistants left at the same time as the Leader. so nobody knows him Personaly. hes been gone now for 22 days and me and my officers think its long enough. could you just exactly tell me how i contact support to let the Lead pass on
