Turning off the splash screens?

Anyone know if there is a working way to bypass the spalsh screens and go directly to the login screen. I tried the unsersettings change I found with Google but it reverts to the default settings every time I log in.

I KNOW the game is made by Zenimax and Bethesda and that is uses Havok... I don't need to see it and waste 15 seconds every time I log in trying to bypass them; that and they are hella loud.

    Hi pknecron,

    This is easy to accomplish

First, exit the game AND the launcher. Make sure nothing is running from ESO. Then open your C:\Users[name]\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live directory and find a file called UserSettings.txt

Within that file go down and edit SkipPregameVideos from 0 to 1 and save your changes. Now open the game and you're done.

In my post I said I DID that already and it reverts back to 0 form 1 every time I log in again.

Have you checked to see if after you close UserSettings.txt that the change still exists? Just curious if the file is properly saving on close or if it's actually being reverted upon opening the game launcher.

The UserSettings file is saved upon every shutdown of the game I believe, so if you haven't started the game with SkipPregameVideos set to 1 it will revert it back to 0.

If you make sure the game (and possibly the launcher) aren't started and you make the change it should persist and keep it set to 1.

Yeah it worked this time, but it took about 4 tries to get the save to stick.
