Limit on Ignore Accounts / Then sort out the Gold Spammers quicker!

Yorkie_gbr
I have reached the limit to the amount of accounts that I can ignore and now Gold Spammers are all over the place.

Gold spammers was an irritant before, now that they can not be ignored it is ridiculous.

You need to do as I did today, delete all the ignored players. Then you can ignore current spammers.

They just need a means to delete all ignored players at once and not just one at a time

How are these people getting the accounts and how are they able to replace banned accounts so quickly?
I will still look across the lands from my perch at Arrius, Nerf or no I will still be the Night. I may not be the hero Ebonheart Pact wanted but I will be the hero Ebonheart pact deserves.

which brings me on the the tedious part, I rather be playing the game than sorting out individual ignores.

The limit needs to be 1000. Election cycles coming up fellas, going to be a lot of politicians joining the botters really soon.

There are more total jerks than I can ignore, and I want to not only ignore their text in game, but I want the function to deny them the ability to see my items for sale, I want the ignore returned (so they don't keep seeing my messages) and I want the option to never group with ignored people.

    Within; Without.

why even have limits on block/ignore
ignore list can be client side - and block messages before it goes to screen
    - if list is client side - it could be a simple text file with a line for each name - or a comma between names
-file is loaded into a b-tree for quick/fast lookup

at least this will solve the ignore list issue

This is still an issue, I have cleared my ignore list and reapplied the ignores on the gold spammers and still hit the the ignore cap.

In this post http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/94225/the-most-bot-concentrated-place-in-stonefall-please-gm-check-this#latest @GossiTheDog‌ reveals that they aren't actually banning the gold-spammer accounts. They simply suspend individual characters.

With all due respect to you and @GossiTheDog‌, I believe this to be wrong.

I am one of those people who have tracked almost every single gold spammer I have seen, by '@' player name. When reported, I also note the ticket number. I have pages of notes going back to early April.

By my direct research, it certainly appears that they are BANNING the ACCOUNT for gold spamming.

Some are bans, some are suspending chars. Just FYI. GMs at botspots are suspends.

Perhaps they are banning gold spammers then, but the bots harvesting the gold seem to not be getting account bans at least. We should find out soon with the introduction of banned players being automatically removed from ignore lists in the recent patch.
