Personally, I find the whole "baby wasp emerged from egg sack in your back flesh" concept incredible disturbing. My skin crawls every time it happens, and I always pay special attention to thoroughly annihilate any wasps I fight to deny them the opportunity to implant their unholy seed.

That said, I hope they leave this in the game. Also, when you get to higher zones, the little buggers will actually fight for YOU (if you kill their parents before they hatch), and they actually do significant damage! I was flabbergasted when I first saw this since I was used to the lower level ones in Grahtwood that just follow you around like a vanity pet.
