So I recently installed the MailR addon. This addon creates a copy of every mail you send and puts it in your inbox for review. I noticed an issue with the mail system by reviewing a mail I sent. Yes, I should have been more careful sending mails out, but that isn't the point here.
So, I sent a person a COD for 3000g. When I clicked 'Send' the 3000 didn't disappear from the little text box. I did not notice this. I then typed in another guys name, dropped an item in the mail and sent it to him (was sending to him for free). I didn't notice until I heard the gold sounds and then checked the MailR copy in my inbox that I had also sent this person 3000g.
Why on earth, does the entire Mail dialog NOT reset after you've sent a mail? Why does the gold text box retain info? This just seems like poor design and should be addressed.
I replicated this three or four times with low amounts of gold and crap items to a few friends.

TheLab✭I am sure you have already figured this out, but MailR clears everything out for you now so you wont run into that problem (it was a known ZOS bug, not MailR). There was a standalone addone for awhile that fixed *JUST* this issue.

MailR found at www.esoui.com/downloads/info226-MailR.html also fixes this problem now along with reply/forward and saving of sent mail.
I havent checked 1.1.2 yet to see if ZoS fixed this or not.0
