He is hard I saw my son killing him week and a half ago. He died twice and he was a vampire. So if a vamp can do it you can. ALWAYS keep moving.

Yeah, there is something wrong. You don't know how to block and volley the dragons. I'm guessing learning to kite wouldn't hurt either. It's okay...we were all noobs once. Except, most of us know how to use google. I'll help:

All the titans died in one or two hits in my case. Switching to my bow spec paid off ludicrously well. And the passive health regen/armor from the buff didn't even let me drop below 90%.

Just the basic bow attacks chewed through them just fine, spammed an instant cast bow skill once or twice to eat them even quicker.

Easiest boss fight in the game if you ask me, considering that you're given demigod-like powers to stomp anything in your way. More like an obligatory ending to the story, a spit in Bal's face.

Personally had no trouble using a resto staff and Reflective Light. To be honest I was a bit disappointed it wasn't more difficult.

To reiterate what others have said, you can't stand still during this fight, you must be moving continuously. What abilities/weapons/class skills are you using?

Blocking reflects 100% of spells, hold block and all the titans an hero by spell reflect.

The titans only take about 4 hits to kill each of them. Molog Bal won't bother you too much as long as you keep moving around whilst killing him and the titans. If you stand in one spot the whole fight, you're going to die.

Hi is trolling but he brings up a very good point, a few too many learn 2 play issues being posted in the customer support forums unless that's what the purpose of this subsection is?

You're blessed by the amulet of kings. Your heavy left click attack should kill them nearly in one hit. I'm a light armored mage who had a weapon that did less than a hundred damage and I was able to wand them to death.

lol and yesterday when I killed molag bal I thought they should make it harder to do it but now I see there is people who struggle with this really lengthy but easy fight.
I think the main problem is people don't know how to block and to dodge.
I prefer to go dungeons with people I know but sometimes I go pugs and then I see that people are just terrible at blocking and dodging/avoiding hard hitting attacks.

Theres simple tactics, if struggling, that win the fight every-time even if a bad build. First priority is to use a ranged weapon even if you are not full trained in it (I used healing staff with only Grand healing learned and at skill 22). Use some sort of healing (healing staff and grand healing is only 1 skill point). Only use heavy attacks and not actual long spells (Slower but easier to keep block up).

Tactics. Use block when he fires the blue balls or he uses swipe (Prolly best to dodge or run from swipe) on you and then keep hitting him with heavy attack and when he jumps into the air, start sprinting out of the red circle, start the sprinting as soon as he jumps into the air. Now use heavy attacks again and block (Just after he lands is when you will get in the most hits). Now when hes at 85 percent he spawns the dragons. Run to an edge of the map where nothing can attack from the back and put up your shield (Right click) Move towards the dragons and reflect back the blue balls and they will drop in 2 hits). Now he uses a new tactic of firing the blue balls at you with a area of effect, dodge, run out of the way. Keep using block, heal, heavy attack and slowly but surely you will win every-time.

Heavy attack
Dodge
Sprint
Keep moving

Basically the fight is about dodging his attacks and self healing with a slow stream of DPS. Sure it can be done way better and faster but if struggling then using these tactics will help.

This has to be one of the worse examples of how to beat him that I have ever seen. Granted, they won the fight but how hard can you make it for yourself! No shield, only light attacks and I bet they died a ton of times!

He was already nerfed and is way too easy at this point. Change up your build. Try new things. It's not a hard fight.

Everyone that read this reply, will now remember their fight against Molag ball, with dory's voice singing in the background... Anyone reading this, and fighting Molag bal, will have a tough time concentrating, for the same reason

I managed to down him as a level 4 vampire with completely broken gear (thanks to my rubbish internet instant killing me on the boulders over and over before I even got to him...). All you need is a ranged weapon and some sort of healing (a skill or a stack of healing potions). Kite him non-stop and pick away at him, dodging and healing as needed. When he summons the titans, just stand in a corner and reflect the spells until they die (not very long at all).
Keep kiting and hitting until he falls over.
Not a very exciting strategy, but it gets the job done.

Was never under 65% health during that fight. And I only used pots and Strife to heal myself.

I take more damage from vr2 mudcrabs.

Makes one wonder if some actually do fight in the 1st person...
But it could be partly because of lag too (I'm talking EU server here). I do occasionally remain in the red area or get whacked by specials despite seeing them coming. My response is just a bit late in traveling, I guess. I wager the more people from different locales present in a fight, the more problems with synching it all...movements, graphics, attacks, counters, dmg...

Molag Bal? Maybe it was my class&build, but he was a disappointment.

Still can't beat this guy. but I can get him to 50% with nothing except degeneration and shooting arrows. Will keep tryng.

Use abilities that buff your basic light attack. You can block he's melee attacks and projectiles. You really should too. You can get free hits on him between he's attacks and after he teleports to hit you.

For the boulder part in the beginning just use any aoe attack. Don't ever stop to fight. You don't need to kill the mobs on the way. Move trough and do a quick aoe if they get close. All the smaller mobs are one shotted with aoe.

The bosses on this game are just off balance that first harvester on fighters guild quest was rediculously hard compare to any other bosses around that level.

ESO is Harder than most auto attack games... but once you learn the controls. those "impossible" bosses become Mudcrabs... MUDCRABS!

harvesters are not hard, you just have to get rid of the bubbles^^ or kite them, or use healing decrease debuff, or just burn them down... what you can#t do is meele them and stand in the same spot^^

Keep in mind, your self-heals also tick extremely high. Make sure you have a heal up at all times, and a DOT stacked on him. AOE dot the adds when they come out and they die fast.
