Mobs way too underpowered!

Thanks to Recount Addon, we can see all the incoming Damage.
With 2500 Life and 1500 Armor getting hit from a normal open World Mob
on the same Level as me, for 1903 Damage is just not enough. Please add
some strength to all open World Mobs, to make sure i don't even
survive a Single Hit.

btw. No am not Vamp and it wasn't Fire DMG.

Just curious, because if you say its name there will undoubtedly be someone here saying "yeah I faceroll those mobs lol". And they'd probably be correct.

Most mobs that have heavy attacks are meant to be interrupted or avoided.

That said, I don't agree with the OP's intent--I like the tension and excitement of having the open PVE world with some seriously deadly mobs lurking about. There's too many games where you can just run around with complete disregard to mobs already since you can easily beat them or out run them. Prefer less of that, not more. Keep 'em over powered!!!

Generally monsters from level 1-50 are underpowered. I have no problem soloing mobs 10 levels above me in broken gear and with random skills equipped to level them.

What is likely killing you is the mechanic of the 3mob pull. With 3 opponents you have 3x the power attacks to block while not being able to attack at the same time due to blocking. It can be difficult to burst one down when you have to keep blocking/avoiding so many simultaneous attacks.

The way you counter this is Volcanic Rune. It will CC all 3 mobs so that you can burst each one down individually. So long as you are prepared it will make any 3 mob pull a whole lot easier.

I really hope they do not nerf the difficulty because many people, including myself, find it refreshing and enjoyable. So lets talk about how to succeed as the game is now rather than changing the game to succeed resulting in the certain disappointment of others.

This went over so many people's heads. armor cap is waaaay to low. Everyone basically has overcharged armor all the time.

One key element for both irony and sarcasm to work in text is a defined context... Which OP quite much lacks. Without context - it will not be obvious to anyone except maybe someone who already knows said context. Just a little answer to the "why?" that those who understood the alleged irony/sarcasm will ask to those who didn't. I say alleged, because I don't know that context, and since OP didn't outline it, I can't say for sure it's irony/sarcasm.

Looking at your screen shot, I would ask two things. One - are you eating food?
- Two - Did you try Sword and Board to interrupt heals? Not sure if that's viable for you or not with that specific encounter. I would also have a stamina pot handy to keep those bashes up.

The World Boss thing - can you CC or Dark Talons it? I've found that plenty of World Bosses are still susceptible to it. I'm not able to solo World Bosses (which I think is by design for the most part), but I'm able to block/interrupt attacks. With Dragon Armor and self heal and obsidian - I haven't had too much of an issue duoing them. I have been able at times to kite using the above method on a couple of them. I'm not VR8 yet, so maybe the scaling is way off.

Gotta say one of the more annoying things is when you say 'this boss is kicking me' and the reply you get is 'Aha... you need to respec using precisely these 5 abilities, make sure you have taken the morphs in that direction, use this one ability that totally doesn't fit with your build, wear the green trousers of narm & the staff of xyz and stand on your head while squinting at the screen with only your right eye... then it's easy.. LTP noob!!!'

world mobs are ok to me, but they need to increase the World Boss difficulty.

No offense, but that's probably the easiest boss in veteran content solo. All you have to do is...interrupt her heal as she does little direct dmg.

If you are unaware you can interrupt mobs, please right click to block and while blocking, left click ,which will interrupt casting of a NPC in front of you.

It was kinda funny, i kicked Molag Bal and his minions at 1st try felt like a boss. (Great main story ending btw for a mmorpg)... and then i go to veteran rank 1 and 3 miners own me so hard i barely moved lol.

But im enjoying the harder dificulty so far, i just have to aproach the mobs much more carefully and not just ran Rambo style.

yeah its crazy. I am starting to move to sword and shield and heavy from my medium bow build. Why? Because a mage kills me in 3 hits...

So true, I'd beta'd in the Dominion so I 'knew' the monsters in the first couple of areas... so as it was my VR starter I cockily laid into two Alit and woke up at a wayshrine... Norion was tough at level 8... brutal at VR... it really does make you rethink stuff... but there are times when I really do struggle as a NB to cope with some of it... a certain solo sea battle springs to mind...

Well it's not that specific, but yes. That's the truth. You have to switch out some abilities in veteran content to complete certain encounters. You're right that people shouldn't be rude about it, but I think people get annoyed when others assume there's something wrong with the game when a design choice forces them to alter their preconceived idea of how things should work.

This is not directed at the OP or anyone else specifically, but more of a general comment responding to the quote above.

As always it's a balance - you should never be forced to totally play in a particular way to meet a challenge, a boss that forces and otherwise viable build to respec is a badly designed boss.

A boss that forces all builds to consider trying different skills in different ways or different combinations is a well designed boss.

IMO this game has a few examples of each type.

Ye thanks for the advice but i already know how to interrupt ...lol
whatever, this Mob is everything, but not easy, i get 900 damage on every hit, means 3 hits - end for me, 1 time i have no stamina and can't interrupt, he is back at 100%...

Some Guildies told me now there is a Fire Pet Helping at this fight, well, for me there never was one. For sure just one more of the endless bugs in eso.
