Freezing 1-2 sec

Hi all and support guys.

Just wanted to pop in and say I found something really strange, whenever I log in I get a 1-2 sec freeze. I first thought it was lag but it kept on coming every now and again.

I then decided to open up the task manager and lo and behold I found 2 weird things running. One is just called Launcher.exe (I close that immediately) the other one is called AwesomiumProcess.exe (Awesomium v1.6.5 - I close this immediately 2) and this takes away the freezes.

Whenever I suddenly get freezes and its not lag, I check if these 2 processes suddenly started to run and there they are....just suddenly. Any ideas as to why these 2 pop up?

The game launcher continues to run after you use it to get to the login screen. Most other games automatically close their launcher once it's done its job and got you over to the game client. When you leave the launcher running along with the game client, there appears to be some issue where your PC's CPU occasionally spikes to 100% which causes those in game freeze ups.

I used to have those freeze ups as well when I left the launcher running. Now, I just close it after the game client is running and I've yet to have a freeze up since.

Closing down services that are directly connected to the game is never really a solution. They will restart themselves in any case as soon as the game requests that service again. The only thing you may gain from closing these services is that the game won't run stable.

Oddly enough I've played the game without freezes for more than the past week, and yesterday the 1/2 sec freezes were back again, just like shortly after launch.
