Silver Bolt spam and Dawnbreaker.

Works great when there is only one .... not so much when there is an army of them.

If there is a vamp with a load of people hitting it in melee range I just wait for the vamp to die of boredom. No point attacking it when all those around it are giving away free health.

well all this fire and silverbolts. seams like they dont hit when he is invisible... so how can i break that? cause he can heal himself when he is invisible too. so i was thinking, i dont want him invisible at all. isnt there anything to break that? like a AOE fear?

From my experience once they start running in mist form its time to find another fight, because he can run you around all of cyrodiil.

Yeah, mist form is annoying.

Once they start running you have no chance of catching them.

Negate magic ultimate for sorcerer shutsdown those vampires and vampire/emperors who are feeding off of area effect spells/abilities from other players. The ones you see in the videos not taking damage from 15-20 players....yeah just use negate magic and nuke.

I'm interested in this; and in PvE. Can anyone give good recommendations for killing Vampires and the like (Bloodfiends, Thralls, et al.) in PvE? I think the Fighters guild active ability Silver Bolts is a given.

Blood fiends that I have seen are incredibly weak to fire attacks. I haven't tried silver bolts, but fire damage has the chance to knock them down/stun them.

OIL works very well. but u need some oil on one spot to just melt them. than it doesn realy matter how much vamps there come

Fire-related attacks, suppression field, and silver bolts. Or screaming "nerf" seems to work now a days..

Have a group of five people drop oil down then have the group kite the vamp/vamps into position and dump while using soul skill ult on them they tend to die pretty quick. also laying traps, negate magic, silver bolts, fighters skill line passives help. They are op and are getting nerfed but in the mean time this is all you can hope to do.

Broken Talons + Standard of Win > Bat Spam

...but if he has Bolt escape, GG you lose.

My guild had a very productive AvA session today and took down a good number of vamps:

1. Spread out
2. Stun the git
3. AOE and kill

Keeping spread out gives him elss to kill and stunning him means he can't do his stuff. Much easier to kill this way.

I'd say they're still a little too powerful, and they need toned down a bit, but once you get used to the way things need to be done it's much easier to handle them.

only vamp skill i use is invigorating drain, i use that to heal and gather ultimate.
