Rings of mara on other characters

Hi there, I have a question about the rings. So Me and my friend did the ritual, I made it to veteran ranks and thought to transfer the ring to my next character I want to level with his new alt. Will our rings work on other characters? Is it character to character or account to account for the exp boost?

it only works on your character who did the ritual with the character who he did the ritual with. And you have to play together.٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶

That poster remade the characters with the same name that was on the ring if that makes any difference. Feel free to create an alt with a different name and run through the same experiment outlined there to see if it works on your alts. Then we can confirm whether they are truly account bound. but you can put them in your bank and effectively wear them on another character, that is why I am wondering if it'll work if we both wear the rings, or if it has to be on that specific character for the boost to work.

I will test it out. I use the better experience bar so I can exp gains ( installed recently) I'll compare with ring on and with ring off.
