Server transfer?

Has anybody heard anything lately about if and when we can transfer our characters to the other megaserver? I ask as i created my account on the EU server as i come from the UK and some of my friends in other games are in the EU, they also bought the game, however they no longer seem to play TESO anymore, i cannot understand 90% of what's going on in the chat channels and it causes frustrations in groups at times when some people refuse to speak my native tongue and i fail to understand what they are saying. that and i also cant translate what gear is being sold unless i buy it first and seeing as the EU server is currently located in the US anyway i figure i might as well move to the NA server, but i really don't want to have to start all over again, im really happy with my characters and progression, and its a lot of effort to get all of them levelled and set up again.
I know other MMO's i play have the option to transfer for a fee of course lol, and only other thread i have found is from beta forums.

The problem with Mega Severs is they are kinda built the way they are to not have transfers I haven't heard anything but the last game I played online with a all EU and a all NA sever it wasn't tell 2 years or something after it was out when they allowed transfers and it was one time paid only available for a week and you had to give up all your gold lol.

I cannot comment with regards to server transfers, but in the meantime any items you see linked in chat in another language should be translated to your native tongue in a separate window when you left-click on them.

they said it can't be done @ this time , I have asked and asked but its a no go.
I was told 2 make a new toon ,lol no way with the way VR are atm

not quite VR yet but like i say i am happy with mine as they are, so guess for time being i should try to make some new ingame "friends" to play with, i like being social lol

Well - EU Server is full of non-english (native) speaking people. Majority I think would be german (Germany, Austria, Switzerland and parts of their neighbouring Countries).

They do not refuse to speak english - they maybe just can't speak/write it.

Tolerance is a great thing btw...
I myself enjoy meeting players from all over europe!

The gear:
By pressing . (point key) you can free your cursor. Then you can click on the french/german/whatever name and a little window opens with the item description in the language of your own eso-installation.

Edit: yeah, sorry for bad english - I am non-english-native ;-)

@Khizank i do understand the point about many players also not understanding me, hence the frustrations, i also play at a time of day most UK players are either working or at school so there is a prevalence of non english speaking players, its not a problem of tolerance i am quite happy to run content with absolutely anybody, english or not, i should have chosen NA at start and normally would have, but like i said i chose EU as some of my friends are Norwegian and Finnish, however none seem to be on here anymore, returning instead to FFXIV, i use TS3 to communicate with these friends.
I was unaware of the ability to translate in chat, that will help me immensely, thank you all to who pointed that out to me.

And there is another reason i've had to turn zone chat off.

I need zone chat on in Cyrodiil though, and I hate to admit it, but i've got an ignore list full of folk just for talking in their own language.

Had to ignore them because I was missing what was being said in zone about where needed help due to long conversations in German/French/Russian or wherever they happened to be from.

I liked the idea of the "megaserver" on paper but it isn't working for me for a lot of reasons.

I hope zenimax would handle chat channels better. It is possbile to only see chat in "english" channel but nobody talks there because they do not realize it even exists. Not many knows that there are regional chat channels so the game needs tell us there are those and game need to educate us about chat channels. Everyone should be placed on their native language chat channels and game needs to autofilter all other channels, with option to adjust filters ofcourse. Current situtation is that zone chat is filled with languages other than english because non-eng speakers do not know that they actually have their own channel where they can spam their language.

lol I am on the NA sever and want 2 move to the EU , I had friends play on the NA but they have left the game
