Unable to get past character selection

I log in, select my character and then the log in attempt times out. I've closed and re-opened my client, repaired my client, and tried different characters. None of these yield any results.

I've been patent with ESO so far. I waited for 7 days as they tried to fix the cold harbor quest line, accepted that my nightblades passives will one day be fixed, and ignored the bugs in dungeons and side quests. I believed in this game all the way back when I was beta testing. Lately, though, I've found this game testing my patience. The number of issues just keep piling up and there appears to be no resolutions in site. They claim they have a patch that will fix a lot of issues but refuse to release it before they put in the V11-V12 areas.

This is basically the final straw with the game. I've canceled my subscription and don't intend on renewing it. I can understand most bugs but the fact that help tickets go unanswered and you withhold much needed patches is BS.

    Same thing happening to me. Have tried all day. Character screen - click a character - wait 5 min then "an error has occurred. Please wait a few minutes and then try to log in again" No error code. Nothin

    At least put us in a queue if its a server overload. Let us know something is afoot.

    It's been over 12 hours and I haven't received an email or any other form of communication from Customer Support. I gather this is just a "feel good" message that's suppose to comfort me while I pay a subscription for a game I can't get into?
